I probably are there the first time in the late 70's. I ate there again today with a big group of family and its still just as good as it was back then!

Delicious. Everything was seasoned well and full of flavor. The chicken finger basket had four hot, tasty pieces. The French fries are well seasoned and the mac n cheese was great. The Cuban sandwich was excellent with crispy bread and served with homemade chips. We had the key lime pie. It was homemade and the perfect blend of sweet and tart lime flavor. Excellent choice for a meal!

We went for the first time on Saturday. We were able to get a seat inside and after reviewing the menu and specials we went to the counter to order. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. I was so intrigued by the specials, but decided to try the Shrimp burger. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich plus we ordered some fried okra. Everything came out in a short amount of time and it was all so delicious! Loved that the fried okra was clearly made from fresh okra and coated with a light crispy batter. Shrimp burger was full of shrimp and had a lovely brioche type bun. Cuban sandwich was perfectly pressed and had a nice subtle smokiness from the pork. House chips that came with both sandwiches were crispy and not too thick. The slightly sweet pickle chips on the side were a nice touch. We are excited to go back and try a special feature and dessert!

Excellent food and wonderful vibe! Most of everything on the menu is made in-house including the breads and sauces. The staff were neighborly friendly. I ordered the fish sandwich (amberjack) blackened with a side of house made chips and pickles. The fish was perfectly seasoned and blackened; It came out soft-juicy-tender in the middle and full of flavor. Hands down it was delicious!! Definitely will come back and I’m spreading the word!

Initial visit. Shrimp platter with side salad and Mac& cheese. Everything delicious. I got blue cheese cheese dressing on side salad and it came with a generous amount of Bleu cheese chunks on it. The shrimp sauce is made there, I think and that was delicious as well. One thing I would change I wanted fountain diet coke and they only had cans. Also more spice added to hushpuppies would be good

Stopped by to show some visitors a good sandwich and was not disappointed. The whole ordering process is like going to subway but the sandwiches are much better. I had the chicken with white BBQ and it was great. Chicken was juicy and a little sear. The white sauce was tangy and plentiful. My guests has the crab cake sandwich and the BLT. The BLT was packed with bacon 🥓, I could see it dripping out the bottom. Only comment was the fried tomatoes were a little thin and the tomato itself couldn’t really be tasted. But overall it was a great lunch, just a little pricey.

Out of all the restaurants in Pensacola….This is probably my favorite. There isn’t anything on the menu we have tried that was not delicious. The staff are kind as well. It doesn’t look like a big deal when you drive by but it has some of the best seafood in town. We will be back. The crab cake sandwich is amazing!

Oh my, what a nice find. My chicken sandwich was awesome and they even make their own pickles, chips and bread. I will definitely be back! Amazing customer service!! This is an additional review to my original review! I went by recently and had the Shrimp burger 🍔 with fries. This burger is easily my favorite ever, sooo damn delicious! The fries were a little darker than I like but still really good, win win!

If you're in Pensacola, this is definitely UNMISSABLE. Super reasonably priced place that specializes in farm to table style food with literally everything made from scratch even down to the pickles. All the bread is baked fresh, and nothing is outsourced. Highlights are the sandwiches with my favorites being the shrimp burger and the roast beef. A little off the main strip but well worth the trip. You can thank me later.

Excellent casual dining option! We were visiting family in Pensacola and they brought us here. Kingfisher is truly a local favorite of theirs and we understand why. We are vegan so we had the buffalo sandwich, filled with fried jackfruit, slaw and homemade pickles; homestyle greens; baked beans; crinkle fries; sweet tea; local bottled soda. Service was superb and everyone was fantastically friendly. We will be back and our family has assured us they will be the 'regulars' keeping seats warm for us.

Kingfisher gets their seafood from Joe Patti’s, so I know it’s fresh. The prices are reasonable and the service was fast. The staff is friendly and the bathrooms are clean. I’m looking forward to eating here, again!

My daughter had the Kale Shrimp salad. It was surprisingly good. My wife had the shrimp sandwich. She liked it - me - not so much. Sorry, but I actually forgot what I ordered. I do remember their homemade chips. They were also surprisingly good. Prices were reasonable. Our food came out quickly. I did like the art on the wall. Oh, and there is also a bar. I forgot about that. Kinda cool.

The owner and chef, Brian, was extremely helpful in explaining what vegan options were already available, as well as genuinely interested in feedback and recommendations as he further expands his plant-based menu and alternatives. For example, after only one meal in and talking with him, the very next day he had vegan mayonnaise available, which we said we would love to see. He also had non-dairy milk available for coffee creamer, and that's always delightful to see in eateries like this one. The Garden Burger is an incredible value for the amount of food and quality you receive. The patty could use a little more firm-ness in texture, but the flavor is top of the line. The hand cut crinkle fries and wonderfully seasoned. Keep up the great work and open mindedness to your vegan customers! It's so appreciated and you will continue to receive our business, and we will send more your way.

It was order first and then sit down type of place! Loved that the seafood was local from Joe Patti's. Everything we had was made in house. The stuffed banana peppers with chorizo was tasty with a little spice. Be prepared if ordered for an appetizer. We ended getting the housemade burger with the in house chips. The sauce on the burger was fantastic. Meat was cooked to your liking. We also got the Cobia platter with two sides. The hush puppies were fluffy. Mac n cheese was on point. The Cobia blackened was fantastic with the tarter sauce with a hint of lime. Will definitely go back for other items on the menu. 🙋🏾‍♂️😋

Went because a customer rated their burger in their top 3, and I was looking for a decent burger to eat. Staff was polite and quick. It was easily one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Everything was homemade, the burger, bun, and even the pickled cucumbers. Will return.

My family and I are from up north and visiting this area. We make everything from scratch ourselves, so to dine in a restaurant that have the same morals and take pride in everything being made in house is refreshing! We ate here twice and was very pleased each time. Definitely would recommend!

Kingfisher is always enjoyable. I really like how they make everything in house. This last trip I went with the cuban sandwich and it was really delicious. They're always doing specials that will keep you coming back just to see what they have, but the main menu items are all solid, especially the fish sandwiches, shrimp burger and seafood platters.

One of my favorite lunch places in Pensacola- the fish sandwich is hard to beat. Staff is incredibly friendly, and while it can get pretty busy during lunch time (especially on the weekend), there's a back room with additional seating. Cuban sandwich (today's special), homemade chips, and a drink ran me $15, worth it.
