We had lunch at this place a few weeks ago. My mom likes the loose meat sandwiches, I had the chili cheese fries. Very good! Stopped back by and had breakfast one Saturday morning. No waiting. The place is clean and the people there are super nice. They give you plenty of good food for your money.
The gluten free toast was kind of small but I was happy they had the option.
This is a good place for lunch, dinner or breakfast. The prices are very reasonable. I will be a regular there.
We found this quaint, little place through a Google search. My husband and I were in the area for an event, and we really didn't know much about any good places to eat. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. You get a lot for a little. We never had an empty cup of coffee and the staff checked on us just enough to make sure we were taken care of. This is our new breakfast stop for when we visit Peoria!
Food and service are great! Such a gem in Peoria. My family loves to visit the 50's Diner. It's the best breakfast in the Peoria area...the have great lunch and dinner too and you have just got to try the malts and milkshakes!
My experience at the 50's diner was the highlight of my trip out here. My friend and I were participating in a scavenger hunt and needed to drink root beer floats while in costume, and bonus points if we got our server involved. We came in asking for permission and they immediately jumped on board! Our photos ended up amazing and it was an experience full of smiles and laughter.
After the photo shoot we settled down for dinner and were served a great meal! In the hustle and bustle of daily life it's not always easy to have a meal that feels "homemade" but with every bite it felt like I was at home. (It helped with the home sickness of it).
10/10 I will definitely visit this diner every time I come visit my friend again.
It's rare that I received anything but really good food. Servers are a hoot! Sarcasm comes rapid fire and funny. I love this place. Five stars aren't enough for me...

We live in Iowa but this is our go to place anytime we come to town. We love their breakfast everyone is so friendly and the food is delicious

When ever I ask my almost 90 year old Dad where he wants to eat, it's always the 50's Diner. Sometimes we eat breakfast, sometimes it's lunch, but which ever it is, we're guaranteed awesome service and spot on food!!! Thank you for treating my wonderful Dad with great respect.
50' Diner is the best!! Wide selection of great food and great environment! Love to go when I and in Peoria with the family.
