I wish the one in Novato had stayed and not replaced with Stefano's. I love the location in Petaluma, easy to get to the bus stop if I can get up there as work prevents me and I hate the 101 traffic going north, but when I can find a way and get a large pizza, pan crust, loaded with pepperoni and I don't care about paying 30 for it, to open that box and see it loaded with pepperoni that I want is a pizza of my dreams. As for the comment from Heidi, why would you want to go to communist Berkeley that has their illegal soda tax and hates certain politicians? Traffic there is worse then Sonoma. Rather go to a restaurant 11 miles away.
They do a great job with deep dish pizza. I can't eat more than two slices, but still get a large. Wrap leftover slices--they're good for days.
Formerly associated with Old Chicago Pizza, but not anymore. Take-out only as far as I know. Get the sausage and mushroom to go. Set your oven at 225F, pick up the pizza and keep it in the oven while you enjoy the first slice. Absolutely delicious.
Best deep dish I’ve hade in a long time. Real Chicago style pizza. Tasted fresh and was delicious. A little pricey but for the amount of ingredients used it’s definitely worth it. My new favorite pizza spot. Every time I crave pizza now i want to order from here. Definitely worth a try
Always been a fan of old Chicago Pizza, and the idea of a takeout option is nice. Probably because the ambience of my house is much different than the downtown restaurant, but I always feel like this one is never quite as good. That said, I'm still a fan and recommend. It's a solid choice for a deep dish pizza and best in the area imo (though, not much competition)
My friends and I drove from Novato to Petaluma just to eat this unique tasting pizza. Once I tasted this pizza I knew this would be my favorite pizza. Even though, I lived in California and New York , I never eaten a great quality and delicious pizza. The Chicago Pizza won my tummy😋
First of all the dough tasted like homemade bread. The sauce are real tomatoes with fresh veggies. Plus, not too overloaded with cheese giving a more healthy hearty taste.
In addition, to not adding so much sodium like most other pizzas that only raise my blood pressure😱
I've known Dave for almost a year now and he is a genuine guy who has worked so hard to build his brand and wants his customers to have the best dining experience in town. Even though the name changed, the pizza sure didn't! Definitely give this place a try!
Pizza is ok here. They used to be an old chicago delivery location, but for whatever reason they split off. Food is similar to ols chicago, but slightly lower quality (which makes me think that's the reason for the split). Price is similar, but slightly higher than old chicago.
I'm a pizza snob. I won't do the dominos, round table or any other quick fast food chain kind. I love the cheese, deep dish and the ""ground up olives" as Sarah the gluten snob put. And yep that's how it's done in Petaluma so move along.
The best pizza ever! Deep-dish pesto is my favorite. This location (McDowell Blvd.) is takeout only. If you want to go to a sit down location, there's one downtown on Petaluma Blvd.
Best pizza EVER. Super thick crust and I love how they do their toppings (don't order more than 3 toppings or your pizza will be heavy). Expensive but my favorite!
Best deep Dish Chicago Pizza in Petaluma, why go any where else!
Pizza was unbelievably awesome. Takes quite a long time between order time and time pizza is in your hands but its definitely worth it. Very friendly staff and prices are reasonable.
This location used to be an Old Chicago Pizza delivery location now they sell their own pizza. The staff is nice and the food is good but it's not quite the same as before.
