Best. British. Food. Since. England! I went to London and Canterbury in 2014 and The Brickhouse Run brought back those delicious memories! The taste, the accents, the views, the atmosphere was simply perfect to a truly English dinner! Highly recommend starting with the Truffle Parmesan Chips and then have the Fish & Chips dinner! You won't go home hungry and you will be completely satisfied with your palette!

Excellent food & atmosphere, good service and drink selection. Had a great dinner, at one point my partner joked that Soma must be in the kitchen with all these seasonal ingredients or together so creatively, the butternut squash carpacio inspired that comment I think. The steak was like butter, the fresh herbs were amazing, the rockfish was perfect. Excellent meal overall. The only thing we weren't a fan of was the smores bread pudding, I love bread pudding so that was a bit disappointing but otherwise the meal was excellent. (They also kindly offered to switch it with another dessert but we declined.)

Great shepherds pie, a must. The atmosphere, staff, food and beer can’t be beat. I am glad I stopped.

Staff was super nice. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. The food was great!! I had the butchers cut ribeye with mashed potatoes and greenbeans and the steak was cooked to perfection. My husband had the bangers and mash and it was also delish. We had one minor hiccup when I didn't get my greenbeans when my meal came out but our waitress quickly ran to the kitchen and brought them out. We can't wait to go back! Such a little hidden gem in old town.

What a delightful place to eat and drink. I was visiting from out of town and staying with a local friend. When we entered we were told there would be a half hour wait for a table so we gave them our phone number and went to take a walk downtown and grab a beer at another local, at a local brewery. Once we got the call we went back and were seated right away for our dinner. They're simple yet abundant menu included about a half dozen appetizers, another half dozen or so sandwiches and about 10 entrees to choose from. They also had a separate menu with specials of the day and special choices of daily beers and wine specials. My friend and I both decided to have their fried oysters for an appetizer and they were perfectly cooked and were delicious. We also each chose the flat iron steak, served with a blue cheese sauce. Our steaks were perfectly cooked to our choosing and the sauce went perfectly with the steak. Frites were served, along with a slightly peppery mixed bean saute. We chose a bottle of Malbec to have with our meal which was very reasonably priced and was delicious. We finished our meal with a cherry creme brulee. The service was outstanding The prices were very reasonable and it was a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy a long and leisurely dinner. I will certainly be back.

Atmosphere was good - comfort cozy. The local vodka was on point. They had a bit if an issue with my food allergy - my tablemates brussel sprouts were charred - mine were maybe sauteed but still hard. The halibut was perfectly crisp but a little dry. The risotto was the rock star on my plate. I think they were concerned (which is a great thing) and went a little too far in cautiousness - but everyone else cleaned their plate.

Super cute place. There's no waiting area on a busy night and there were some rude customers at the bar but the food was great. Once we were sat, it was a really nice dinner with my wife and I. The star off is for not having a place to stand when waiting.
