Just delicious and the cashier was very friendly and familiar with the menu and knew what to suggest to my husband and I and brought the food to our car when it was ready. We weren't big fans of the mustard sauce and the chicken was a little dry but what we came for were the RIBS and they were right on point! We'll definitely be back! Thank you !
Honestly, I don't normally write reviews, but this place made our trip home! The owner makes his food with LOVE! You will never have BBQ the same EVER again. Everyone was so kind to my husband and I! I was getting so depressed with our vacation coming to an end and this place just cheered me up and was delicious! We couldn't have picked a better place to stop, honestly! The owner even came out after our order to make sure we had everything we needed. His sauces are BOSS! Totally never had anything like his food and the experience was with some of the coolest people I ever met!!!! You guys are AWESOME!
Oh my first time was this weekend got the ribs bake beans and mac and cheese the ribs wasso soft and flavor the sides was good overall the food was delicious will be going back.

Excellent! In Petersburg for the weekend from NJ and SC. Just happened to pass by here Saturday, and we decided check it out. Food was so good we had to go back for more on Sunday before leaving town! Ribs and wings were my fave! Great friendly service too! I definitely want to go back when I'm in the area again. Best part of the weekend!
First time, writing a review and wroth writing. This was my very first time eating there. I noticed restaurant when VSU had their homecoming.
The smoke fried chicken wings had that wow factor and smoke chicken quarter had tender taste, not like most BBQ spots over cook and dried out. My wife enjoyed smoke fried ribs and the sauce had a combination of sweet and spicy combination that didn't overpower each other. I can say, Tips is my family new home.
Got the bbq tray with green beans and Mac and cheese. Really good food. The sauce was good but didn’t really use it cause the bbq was so good. Friendly people too. I’d recommend checking it out!
