WOW! The brisket and sausage were phenomenal! This was my first time to try these guys out. I bought four pounds of brisket and two pounds of sausage to treat a good customer to lunch! I was the hero because everyone loved it! The brisket was very juicy and tender! The sausage was really good! The sauce was very tasty and really tied Everything together. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating! I highly recommend this place!

I came in to Winners BBQ on a saturday, right at opening (11am). We were promptly greeted by the staff, who was very friendly and warm. I feel like it's a family behind the counter, which I love a good family business. It just feels like there's more love put into the food and overall experience.
Anyways, this was my first time and I wanted to try a few things out so I went for the 3 meat plate to share with my partner (she agrees with my review). We got the brisket (moist), ribs, and pulled pork. Mac n cheese and potato salad for sides.
BRISKET: loved this slice of meat. I always get moist because it is more fatty and retains better flavor (IMO). I'm so used to Texas style, which is normally just salt and pepper rub, but this brisket had a unique dry rub full of flavor. I got hints of sweetness and tang, and its just hard to describe, bit it works so well. The bark was fantastic, nice and thoroughly seasoned and crisp (carmalized). The meat was juicy and tender. I still love my texas style, but I think I have another brisket that I'm gonna have to add to my rotation.
RIBS: Just like the brisket, this had a delicious dry rub that was sweet with some slight tang. The meat was tender and pulled from the bone, as it should.
I'm a firm believer in NOT using BBQ sauce. If done right, the seasoning and meat should be enough. This place did not disappoint in that regard. No BBQ sauce needed.

This small restaurant has big taste! My friend got the loaded baked potato with just brisket and it was a very big, very delicious meal. I opted for the two meat plate, the brisket was phenomenal and I also loved the sausage. The mac and cheese had great flavor and so did the potato salad. They had made whipped banana pudding and I liked that it didn't seem so heavy after a big meal and didn't loose any of the delicious taste.
The service was quick, friendly and consistent. Couldn't be better. I will definitely come here again.
OMG the brisket is closer to butter in texture than meat. Just falls apart it is so tender. The sausage was a bit spicy so it was real good. And the ribs were great too. The potato salad had a bit unusual taste that was appealing. The macaroni and cheese did't disappoint but was the least tasty of the meal. Definitely worth stopping here for a meal or takeout.
Really GREAT BBQ from here. The brisket was stupid good, fall apart tender and great bark. Ribs were a tad overcooked but that's just me being picky quite honestly. Had the 3 meat plate, beans were out of this world, potato salad was a little soupy but I saw on another post they're having some issues with their potato supplier so I'll trying them again because the flavor was good. Mac and cheese was solid, not spicy like I thought based on the other post so I just threw some jalapenos in there to spice it up!
Overall....it's a great spot. I've been to the Plano location several times, so this oughta take care of my cravings here in Pflugerville. The wife and I will be back!
Grate new spot in Pflugerville, heard about it wen I was it the barbershop down the street s I had to try it. Yesterday was my first time and I'm back today. You cant go wrong with the 3 meat and the loaded baked potato looks crazy And the cyclone sandwich looks delicious. Portions are awesome and service is great, dont forget to try the mac and cheese...
Brisket and Ribs were great. Mac and Cheese was really good as well. Staff and owner were very nice. Would absolutely go back and WILL!
