The food is delicious. The bun was soft. The temph was enough to give bacon a run for its money. The chicken was tender. The onion, pickle, and lettuce goes well with the sandwich. The sweet potato fries were tender and delicious. The two sauces I selected were Hippy City and Green Goddess. The Sweet Hippy City and Earthy Green Goddess were so delicious on the sweet potato fries. The Kale lemonade was not over sweet. It added a little bit of fresh to the entire meal. I recommend this meal. It all paired together well. Kudos to the customer service handling questions for first time customers by phone. Oh and everything I asked for was in the bag. They are awesome at this location and knew their stuff. I will definitely order here again.
The food was so good! Even my partner, who isn’t vegan, loved the Philly cheesesteak and the burger which you could put buffalo sauce in it.

True stories... I am in my kitchen in Hampshire , England ,UK . I just finished frying some mushrooms and onions together (light dinner) when I remembered HipCityVeg from my student nurse days at Pen University I'm 2012.... This review is 11 yrs too late but I would rather think of it as , 11 years and I still remember the mushroom burger that tasted Soooooo good . I am not vegetarian or vegan but for the semester I was at Pen uni , I think I was here almost EVREY DAY! I can't wait to bring my husband and children one day soon. 💕
I love that HipCityVeg is quick, casual, and all-vegan, and the food is fresh and tasty. Better to take away than eat in though. The seating area is quite cold, not cozy, and the music is a bit too loud.
Delicious. My friend ordered the Jerk Caesar and I ordered the Philly Steak. Wonderful and prompt service! I hope I can come again soon. Their eco-friendly utensils and compost bin warmed my heart. Note: they do not have bundles on the menu!
Amazing vegan spot! Got the breakfast sandwiches with the smoothie and hash brown. Everything is so great and the services is amazing! Very quick and it was not a long wait.
Food is delicious. Entirely vegan menu with Philly cheesesteaks, chick'n sandwiches, salads, milkshakes and more. More of a fast food vibe. Food came out very quickly and hot too. Only downside is limited amount of tables to sit at. 4 tables for 2 people each to sit at as well as a two seat high bar stool. Being there on a Saturday night we had to wait a good 15 mins for people who were already done eating to finally get up so we could sit down. Food is pricey but worth it.

Delicious vegan smokey sweet crispy chick’n wrap + buffalo sauce, the sweet potato fries were so good I didn’t need to dip them in sauce. Tangerine and turmeric lemonade and chocolate shake to boot. Highly recommend for a quick bite if you like plant based or looking for vegan options.
First time in Philly, and first time in a Hip City Veg. As a vegetarian I was happy to see a vegan Philly Cheesesteak on the menu, and it did not disappoint. Overall Philly seems like a really vegetarian friendly city.
The food was AMAZING! This is the first time I've been able to have a chicken ranch sandwich in almost a decade. Totally worth it. HipCity sauce is delicious too. Especially with the sweet potato fries!
