This is hands down the best French restaurant in philly. Everything tastes incredible. The service is great and the ambiance is adorable. This is the only place we’ve come back to multiple times in the city. This will be our favorite forever.

Th current holiday dinner is perfect, perfect wine pairs and service. A happy ambiance, always feels like coming home to best possible meal. A snafu when patron seated next to us mid meal had most pungent cologne ever....server graciously reseated us saving my nose and therefore my dining experience. Thanks devoted staff 😘

Lovely little place. We had the escargot and tartare for apps and the rabbit and trout for dinner...all were delicious!

Superb dining experience during restaurant week, with no shortcuts taken. The specialty menu had a variety of options for a three course. We opted to add additional items as well. Dish ingredients were rich and savory, while served at a perfect pace. Dining staff went above and beyond.

My husband and I recently visited Bistrot La Minette in Philadelphia and had an absolutely fantastic experience. We started with the Escargots a la Bourguignonne, which were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. For our entrees, we ordered the Entrecôte et oeufs au plat and the Truite meunière, both of which were incredibly fresh and tasty. We couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of the food. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and charming, with a distinctly French feel that made us feel like we were dining in a bistro in Paris. We loved the cute decor and overall vibe of the place. But perhaps the best part of our experience was the exceptional service we received. The staff was professional, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Our server was helpful in making recommendations and ensuring that our dining experience was seamless from start to finish. Overall, I would highly recommend Bistrot La Minette to anyone looking for an exceptional French dining experience in Philadelphia. The food, ambiance, and service were all top-notch, and we can't wait to come back again.

I dined here for the first time on a whim, and I'm happy I did. The service and food were both exceptional. I highly recommend trying the butternut squash soup! The wine and everything else were great too. Our server, Rachel, was also very friendly. I definitely recommend this place and plan to return soon!

I enjoyed this restaurant and the overall atmosphere. The waitstaff is lovely and add to the good time. A nice selection of wines, cocktails, and they even have some nice beers. The food was very good, the only critique would be maybe less foie gras terrine, as it's so rich you can feel full off of that itself. Not necessarily a bad thing to have. We got the Terrine de foie gras, Filet d'omble chevalier au champagne, Joue de porc façon cassoulet (which was in my opinion the best selection we got and perfect for a raining day), and Gâteau au fromage de style basque. To drink we had Vin à l'ancienne, Ecorce Sauvage, and Crème de Cassis Kir Royale.

The food and service here are great. Highly recommend the duck liver (the hot one). Not recommended rabbit. Duck breast and pork cheek are good choices, too.

Absolutely delicious! We went for restaurant week and got the poached egg & mussels, escargot, trout, rabbit tagliatelle, apple spice cake, and creme brulee. We also ordered the truffle mac & cheese a la carte, which was totally worth it because it was one of our favorites! Other favorites were the egg toast, rabbit, and creme brulee, but everything was fantastic!

I went with my 16 yr old son last night for restaurant week specials for the 1st time. We were greeted and vaccine checked at the door per city guidelines. He is taking French in school as I did and we both wanted to try escargots and have some pretty authentic french cuisine. It was absolutely fantastic. The platings were simple and clean. We started with the escargot and endive salad, our entrees were rabbit and trout and to finish we had THE BEST creme brulee I have had in years....yes almost everywhere offers it now, but most places serve it ice cold (I was taught that is actually wrong) and have hardly no sugar crust to them. This was full coverage and had the perfect "crack" and was beyond a beautiful finish to a wonderful meal. Will definitely be back for special occasions.

When you first walk in, there is a bar on your right. The entrance is quite small but it is absolutely adorable to eat outside. I had eaten here for restaurant week. I got the salmon, lamb, and chocolate thing. The salmon had been wonderful especially because of the olive oil placed around the rim of the plate paired with the raw salmon. The lamb shank I didn't even need a knife because it was falling off the bone. I liked the eggplant and other vegetables accompanying it. The bathroom is a little weird there isn't a separate one for men and women but nonetheless a quaint and cute place.

Oof! I was not prepared for this deliciousness. Pricey but worth it. I got a cocktail that had pineapple and anise. Um…. I forgot anise tastes like licorice. 😖 But the crunchy, tangy butter salad was very fresh and satisfying. And the steak w/ tarragon butter with the side of asparagus and pommes Anna (slivers of potato stacked like a lasagna, with crispy edges). MIND. BLOWING. The creme broulee was creamy, tasty (not too sweet) and had that nice hard shell. Everything was exquisitely cooked and seasoned to perfection. Definite sticker shock at the bill but we had a meal to remember.

Everyone was shocked with the big bone in lamb. The cherry source came with duck is really delicious! The olive oil in the snails fish is so good and smells great. The lamb taste like good to the health, haha. Pick a good sunny day and try the seat outside, you will feel the flow of time and the beautiful life.

We stopped in for a late brunch snack and had never heard or been to the restaurant. First, I think the menu is really well priced. I am relatively new to the area and have felt that food has been very overpriced for what you get. Here I felt the menu prices and descriptions really matched the service and quality of food received. Excellent. The waiter was nice and attentive but not too attentive (very French 🤣) which I appreciated. The wine and drink menu looked great the cocktail descriptions were varied but not too experimental (which I appreciate) I like standard cocktails with a twist and accessible ingredients. Second, the portions were perfect the cheese plate and soup were great the bread and butter served was great I was just overall so pleased with this surprising meal. As someone who is French, and who has eaten at some crazy amazing restaurants this place is a must eat. We had a great time! Already making plans to go back!

Been there numerous times and always enjoyed everything but yesterday got the chicken and it was on the dry side. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Fantastic foood!!! Best restaurant week meal everrrr!! I truly enjoy this place although having to wait almost an hour before our reservation time to come in. I think it is close on Monday and Tuesday? It was mostly crowded probably because the food is SUPERB! We started with escargot (snails in butter and herb), and pate on bread and some side berries/fig/cream combination. Overall exciting stuff especially the combination. Main dish was: The roasted duck leg on cherry tomatoes is a must try! It combines the crunchy duck skin and well seasoned meat with sweet plum sauce and fresh tomatoes with a touch of bittle arugula. The other main dish we order was rabbit mustard with tagliatelle which is also very good but not as extraordinary as the duck. The special side dish that day was mac and cheese made with Comte cheese, also divine! Very ooey gooey and has a great smell. The desserts are okish given they sold our their signature creme brulee, but we got the caramelized puff pastry and cognac infuses berries and cheese which are all new tastes to our palate. Overall, very worth it. Spent around $60/person (tax tip included). Check them out!
