An Outstanding Dinner
First off the dining room is exquisite ... quiet, well appointed and relaxing. The veal chop was one of the best I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked and nicely presented. My friend had the bolognese and the sauce was rich and deeply flavored. Our waiter was great, very personable. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.

A bit pricey but the food is amazing so it's totally worth it. The service is excellent too. Pick a day and spend some money on yourself.
I'll keep it simple. Rarely does a restaurant steak come close to the steak I grill at home, with fresh, high quality beef from a butcher and 30 years of grilling experience. So when I ordered a ribe eye at Davios last night, I expected the usual OK steak. Man, was I pleasantly surprised! The steak was perfect, and possibly the best steak I have ever had. Not to mention the mashed potatoes and green beans were out of this world. I'll be back
Came here for a business dinner with a decent sized group. Food was very good from start to finish. Service was good. Would definitely return!
Nice little breakfast spot!
Many yummy dishes. Came for a pharma presentation. Multiple appetizers, of which the bruschetta and grilled shrimp were best. A flavorful penne with walnut cream sauce, a lovely light arugula salad, followed by a big wedge of eggplant parmesan. Dinner was a trio of tastes, all lovely. Would come again n a heartbeat
Davio's was excellent. Start to finish just the best. Highlights were Calamari (best I ever had and enough for all 4 of us). 12 oz filet was cooked to perfection. Short ribs were to die for. All the sides were very good especially the sweet potato purée. Deserts were plentiful and very good. Service was impeccable and the ambiance was most enjoyable. With a couple of bottles of wine and everything from soup to nuts this place is very expensive. However it was worth every dime. Best restaurant in Philly.
Winner! Amazing meal, environment and service. Had parents 50th anniversary party there. All the food was fabulous bu let me tell you for some reason the creme brûlée was rediculous. Don't leave without trying. Worth the calories.

Out of all the resturaunts that I have frequentedin Center City Davios understands what exceptional service means. Top that with a kitchen that knows how to cook meat and this is another one of my favorites...

I had a wonderful dining experience at Davio's. We took a client from France to dinner and chose Davio's -the desk at the hotel highly recommended to us. Everything was perfect. The service impeccable. The food was phenomenal and the ambiance was just right. Our guest was very satisfied as were we. I look forward to returning.
My wife were in Philly for our Wedding Anniversary. We made reservations here and were extremely pleased with our experience. This place is outstanding. The restaurant is on the second floor and you take an elevator to get upstairs. Once upstairs the decor is beautiful. There is a Bar with a large open dining area. Our waiter was attentive and very friendly. The food from appetizer to dessert was phenomenal. This is a great restaurant.
I have been going to Davio’s for 10+ years and never had a bad experience! I personally feel that they not only have some of the best Italian food in the city in addition to having some of the best steaks that a Philly has to offer. The service is impeccable, the staff here is truly top notch, they’ve executed dinners with myself and 1 guest just as flawlessly as they have groups of up to 20 of us! The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful and is kept immaculately clean. You’d be hard pressed to find another restaurant in Philadelphia or any other major city that has been open as long as Davio’s and keeps the menu fresh and interesting while consistently delivering top notch service. If I had to name one Philadelphia restaurant as my favorite it’d be Davio’s.!
We had a business dinner in the city and I selected Davios because I like the restaurant in King of Prussia. The city version did not disappoint. Service was excellent and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. There was a little problem with the single elevator you need to take to gain entrance but everyone survived that! The food was terrific and I enjoyed the popovers, the scallops and risotto, and the light chocolate dessert!
A great place to have lunch or dinner especially during restaurant week. We didn't get the chance to try their beef short ribs because the menu was changed for the second restaurant week offer. We ordered every selections on the lunch menu and shared among ourselves. The appetizers were very good especially the Gnocchi that had just the right texture. Our entrees seared tuna was cooked to perfection. However, the carbonara pasta was a little dried even after mixing in the egg yolk. Overall, most of our the dishes were excellent and they were accompanied with outstanding services. We will be back to try something else on their regular menu.

I’ve said it before…, Davio’s sets the standard for excellence in customer service… It is as though the entire restaurant waits on you as not a person walks by without an engaging smile and welcoming demeanor. From a simple thanking you for coming in to course recommendations… I’ve been to their Foxboro and Lynnfield locations and tonight Philadelphia. In a couple of weeks they are opening their newest Davio’s in Braintree, Massachusetts…
The first thing to come out are their signature Popovers… Warm and delicious served with soft butter…
For my appetizer this evening, the Philly Cheese Steak Spring Rolls… Served with Spicy Housemade Ketchup and Mayo topped with Fried Onion Rings… Wonderfully flakey Shell with the most delightful Cheese Steak filling… My last two times in Philly I didn’t have Cheese Steak so when I saw it on the menu, I had to have it!
Second… The Bucatini Amatriciana, Maine Lobstah, Pancetta, San Mariano Tomatoes… This dish is named after the town of Amaratriciana in Italy… All their pasta dishes can be served as appetizers and not wanting to fill up, I opted for that…The sauce, with its slight zing and chunks of fresh Lobster meat was to die for!
And for the main… The Seared Striped Bass, Fregola, Charred Eggplant And Saffron Citronnelle… Another one of those dishes you feel guilty disturbing it’s such a work of art! Eat it slow and savor every bite…
While I wasn’t planning on dessert, hard to say no to that amazing Rum Cake staring you down. It was even better than it looked with it’s fluffy body and rich flavour… Add in a perfectly prepared cappuccino and life is truly complete!

First of all, my server Ronnie was more than fabulous! He had suggestions answered all my questions and was amazingly helpful but did not hover. The inside of the building is just beautiful. The bread that was served when I was there was a huge popover over that was just amazing. I had the gnocchi appetizer with mushrooms that was delicious. I ordered my steak medium well and it was just perfect. I did not order dessert, but saw the dessert cart, and it was just beautiful with many delicious choices.
Simply amazing. Great pasta. Ordered the Kobe meatballs amazing. They provided pop overs for table bread that was delicious. Need to go eat here.
Solid steakhouse in the Rittenhouse Square area of Philadelphia. The spring roll appetizers are unique and I recommend getting the sampler platter for the table. The calamari is also great to get for a group. Their steaks are fresh and came out of perfectly to order. Great single malt selection. Highly recommend the multi layered lemon cake too!
Nice upscale Italian steakhouse. Wonderful hot popovers. Nice selection of meat, seafood, and salads. We went for restaurant week, perfect value. Like many restaurants, the lighting is such you cannot read the menu, see your food or your dinner partner, but what to do?
Had dinner here on my last night in PHL. Restaurant is on 2nd floor so you catch the lift upto it. Nice inside but alittle dark. Seated quickly without a reservation. Ordered lobster risotto which was good. Cake trolley bought round with lots of options..chose red velvet cake. Service was fine but a little generic.
