First off, I've been following Federal on IG so I was super stoked to be there! Secondly I expressed my excitement to the wonderful lady at the counter and she was sweet enough to bless me and my husband with apple cinnamon donuts. The pineapple Brown sugar almost made me bite me own finger!š And the chicken sandwich had my husband wanting a to go bag(and we did). Please make your way down south, we need you!
Best doughnuts I've ever had, born and raised in Philly but moved to Florida and all I get is Dunkin Doughnuts this place is on another level. Mentioning them and Dunkin Doughnuts in the same sentence is an insult to Federal (My sincerest apologies) if you want the best tasting and freshest doughnuts ever check them out, you won't be disappointed.
Soooo good. The fried chicken sandwich was a tremendous delight. The churro donut is excellent. They go great together... Totally awesome experience. I only wish I found this place sooner!
Fresh, hot donuts made to order is enough but the Churro donut is just awesomeness. Staff was super friendly too. Hit this place up when in Philly or all the time if you live there! Please franchise to Reno haha!
Love it and although they discontinued my vanilla spice donut....(sniff sniff cry cry) they have a cookies and cream that is just as good....hot donuts how can you go wrong!

Pickup was easy and quick. Amazing buffalo chicken sandwich! And the wings with honey donut inspire the (intended?) Association with chicken and waffles. Great start to a morning!

They have a few locations, and we picked the one that is in more of a residential area than a busy center of the city. There was no line when we arrived shortly after 11am. But, it was still busy, it can get crowded very quickly with a very small interior. They have five counter seats, and that is about it. While we were there, most of them were there to purchase the food to go, so the seats were not in high demand.
Even though this is mainly a donut shop, they also offer enticing fried chicken. We ordered their very popular Fried Chicken Sandwich, available from 11am. It was smaller than I thought it would be, but I always take quality over quantity. It was juicy, tasty, with a nice little kick to it. We really enjoyed it!
We couldnāt just order chicken from a donuts shop, so we got a couple of donuts from their Hot Donuts selections. We chose Cookies & Cream and Strawberry Lavender. We both liked the strawberry one better, since it had better, stronger flavor. Cookies & Cream was good but didn't have much flavor.
Definitely a place to visit if you are visiting Philly!
Donuts here are freshly made. Definitely try their chicken and donut combo it is to die for. Order the traditional flavors but the specials are great as well as you can mix and match. The donut mix is just right as the textures are soft on the inside and a lil hard on the out. Don't expect a long wait here. Just order and to. My friends and I loved our donuts and will definitely be back!
Very good with somebamazing flavors that take you back to Childhood and then backbto an adult.
The big banana pudding donut made me feel like I was 10 years old again and then the Cafe coffee donut brought me back to my love of coffee.
I love your donuts but I have a recommendation. I would like to taste more of the fruit icing flavors without the added layer of vanilla icing . It makes the donuts too sweet and I'm a donut countersurš. Thank you.
This was my first time enjoying Federal Donuts (besides the one at Citizens Bank Park). I ordered 1/2 dozen hot & fresh. They were perfect. I ordered 2 of each flavor. The only one I didn't get to try was the cinnamon sugar. The cookies and cream was great. The strawberry lavender was to die for. On top of that, the coffee was even good. I will certainly be going back to try some more flavors and I'd love to try the chicken one day. This place is a MUST for any foodie in the area.
Amazing sandwiches, I loved the chicken and the egg on the breakfast sandwich was so silky. Coffee was very good which pleasantly surprised me bc I just assumed theyād be focused on the food at this place. The donuts were okay, cake donuts tend to run dry, they werenāt bad I just wished they were warm. The raspberry linzer donut had amazing flavor, cannoli donut was too sweet. Great quick service.
The donuts were so fresh and warm.. we got the strawberry lavender, cinnamon, and cookies and cream.. next time I will try the fried chicken!

Delicious donuts, they never disappoint, would recommend mixing the hot fresh and fancy. Employees at the South Philly location are great. It's my favorite FedNuts location, no place to dine-in but who cares when the donuts warm your soul.
It was my 1st time visiting this location after seeing some news on FYI Philly. I'm so glad I did as the service and food was awesome.
Literally the best place ever. Try the chicken sandwich while you're at it. There isn't a hot donut that'll beat their standard cinnamon brown sugar.
