One of my favorite restaurants by far! The food is always amazing I love the fried chicken and waffles and also the fried chicken basket with the French fries. Let me tell you their fries are the best I ever tasted they’re perfect. The service is also great staff is super friendly and always on top of things. If we go around dinner time I like to make a reservation to make sure we have a table it gets a little busy at that time, but even the few times I didn’t make one we never had to wait extremely long to be seated. All in all definitely one of Phillys best.
Customize your own salad and enjoy the freshness and its size. The turkey club looked delicious and must have been. There wasn't a piece of it left. Would recommend Jones to others.
The service was spectacular! How nice it was to revisit this place after 9 years! Still the best tomato soup & grilled cheese, and the zucchini frites were awesome, we will return!
Just moved to Philly from Alabama so I know what fried chicken is supposed to taste like and the Chicken basket exceeded my expectations! The chicken was season, moist and the portion was huge! Enjoyed the ambiance and the food. I will be back!
Great food! I had the baked mac and cheese, it was amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would absolutely visit again.

The staff was nice, my daughter & I both had the salmon & it was amazing. A bit on the pricy side but I’d definitely go back. BONUS: they have birch beer!!
Food was fabulous and service was great in a cozy atmosphere. The pear crisp for dessert at our table by the fireplace was out of this world. Will be back!!!
Excellent food and drinks but the bottomless brunch is overpriced at $28 per person in addition to food.
Great food and fantastic service! We were a party of five with very different tastes and Jones had varied menu that worked for each of us. You won't be disappointed.
Great customer service! Delicious food! I’d definitely recommend the baked Mac & Cheese, the Gyro, and the tuna tacos!
This diner have the best food in Philadelphia. The service was good. The female manager or owner came to us personally and asked if everything was alright. As 3 people we ate a lot.The restaurant was decorated and clean.keep up the good work.See you next year.
Great food, atmosphere and service. This is only a few minutes from the Walnut St. theater and a great place to grab a bite before the show.
Wonderful food and exceptional service. Our server, Emily, was very attentive, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about all of the dishes in the menu. The restaurant has great ambiance. The chicken and waffle is delicious. The chicken was tender and well seasoned and the waffle was light and full of flavor. The shrimp and cauliflower "grits" was a hit with my dinner companions. They raved about the gorgeous texture and flavor of the dish.

Definitely Great comfort food spot. The chicken breast was flavorful, The burger was tasty. Didn't have the waffles. Next time. Staff and managers were very helpful. My only gripe at a quarter to 6 was, they ran out of mint for the mojitos. Smh. I wound up not having any other drinks. I have mojitos more than any other drink. Them not having mint, isn't a deal breaker. Will go back when in town again. Hopefully covid will be gone. P.. They have a high Tech screen-temperature gauge before you go into the establishment
Best French toast ever! Went for brunch. The food was great. The service could use some improvements. Cozy atmosphere. Overall a nice brunch spot
Always Great Sunday Brunch vibes....
We made reservations to ensure that which what was already limited seating, we had a seat
Face temperature scans were taken the moment you entered. Servers had there COVID-19 gear on. We felt cool and "safe" to eat inside for be 90mins alotted.
Customer service was great, food always yummy, hats off to the kitchen, mod designs with the built-in stone fireplace gives a funky throwback vibe. Only negative was the air was on, definitely made for a chilly brunch. Considering it was already a very very windy day. Matter fact, soo much so that outdoor seating has to end, patrons were moved inside due to the winds knocking table umbrellas down.
Although I got green tea this me around, it's a must you try the Mimosas with the flavored purees. Sooo delish!!
It’s been awhile since I have been here and I have to say I am still impressed. Family friendly and great takes on dinner classics. Like any Starr restaurant it is loud but if you are ok with that this is a fun place to grab lunch and a drink.
The Mac and cheese was perfection and had a slight smoky feel to it. The bottomless drink special was great. The protein plate was filling and the chocolate cake negated the healthy part of ordering the protein plate.
First time here. Food was awesome and came quck. Chicken and waffles was great and the ALT sandwich with Turkey Bacon was amazing. Definitely get the monkey bread you will not be disappointed.
Start with the Nachos or Mac and Cheese. You can't go wrong with their famous Grilled Cheese and Tomato soup combo. You're gonna be stuffed but you must get dessert because their milkshakes are top notch and served the right way, with a thick straw and whipped cream plus a cherry. They also serve an excellent brunch. Get a Bellini.
Warm & Inviting. The menu was line after line of comfort food done well. The staff were friendly & attentive. The short ribs were fantastic, and the horseradish mashed potatoes were not messing around. Serious flavor there. I would definitely return.
Service was quick was there for their mid day menus that is more limited but meet our needs. The shake was very good would have loved to have another.
The food here is to die for and the staff are super nice. The atmosphere in this dinner is fancy and absolutely gorgeous. Will be coming back.
Love it! The best Chicken & Waffles that I've ever had. Service was Great!
I personally didn't have a problem everything was good during this visit. The water glasses were clean. Tables were nicely spaced. Atmosphere was split between bar and restaurant. Son the lighting was just right. You could enjoy your dinner and still get a chance to watch a game or too. Menus were a little cruddy though they could use a cleaning.
At the top of my list for cool spots to chill grab lunch. Date night. It's laid back, relaxed feel good spot. OBTW the fries are awesome!!!
Good food, good value, nice service and in a good looking restaurant.
Possibly not a foodie destination, we had Cobb salad, fried chicken and turkey clubs, but if you are looking for simple food this place does it well.
Beer choice interesting, and the wine quality good.
Omg the Skirt steak was mouth watering GOOD, Mmmmm and the Au Jus was the perfect topping for the mash potatoes
Food and atmosphere is really good. Also fast service
