tonight I had apple pie bar ice cream and apple cider donut cookie (not photographed). Both were delicious
any and every ice cream I’ve ever had from here was always delicious. I look forward to continuing to try their different flavors
Amazing service here and very clean inside. There are so so many different flavors of popsicles and they offer vegan options! The popsicles are sooooo delicious. The texture is amazing. They are definitely the best popsicles I've tried. My boyfriend who came with me got the matcha moci pie and said it was delicious, he was talking about it for the rest of the day because it was so good.
Lil pop shop is one of the places in Philly that never disappoints. Stumbled upon this shop in West Philly while on a nighttime stroll and since then have come back multiple times to try their variety of original popsicles. There’s flavors like matcha Mochi, Vietnamese ice coffee, mango sticky rice, watermelon lime, and more! The popsicles seem to be made with natural ingredients and minimal artificial flavors. Their decor is also so cute and cheerful. This popsicle and ice cream shop is sure to brighten your day!
Love the pop shop in addition to the larger location. Just as great!
Update because I keep going back: I had a lavender lemonade popsicle from here about 2 weeks ago and can’t stop thinking about it. It was insanely good. Ice cream sandwiches are also amazing at all times.
Oooh, this is a little gem and a great alternative to a traditional ice cream cone. It's going on my BESegal Ice Cream Tour.
Lots of interesting flavors, both traditional like Vietnamese coffee and chocolate and adventurous like rose petal. Prices are a little higher than some ice cream shops, $3 for a small pop and $4 for a large, but well worth it.
I really like their dairy-free popsicles! It'd be awesome if they added more dairy-free creamy options, like chocolate. They could also easily replace the dairy in their pops for a non-dairy milk that would be more inclusive of all people, more sustainable, and better for animals. :)
Yummy pops! Line moved decently quick for how many people came on a Saturday night. Really enjoyed trying the different flavors like coffee and mint. Those were both yummy. They have a few outdoor tables for seating. Staff members were nice!
The young lady behind the counter was so interactive & patient! She was super nice! The ice cream was great! I didn’t expect to enjoy the honey lavender flavor but it was soooo good! My daughter & I both got it. My son got vanilla & said it was the best ice cream he ever had lol! Kids even got a coloring page & crayons! Planning to go back again tomorrow ♥️
I have never had an ice cream shop experience like this one. The ice cream sandwich was amazing. Flavor profiles like I've never experienced in ice cream
Lil Pop Shop makes the best popsicles in Philly! I love their seasonal flavors, handcrafted with local ingredients. They’re so good I want to eat them even in the wintertime--can you tell I may be a little bit obsessed?
So of course while planning our September wedding, I decided I wanted to share these popsicles with my wedding guests. We chose mini pops and had them served with the apps during cocktail hour for some unexpected sweets before dinner! It was small enough of a serving to not fill the guests up--so it was the perfect choice. I had many of my guests telling me how much they loved the popsicles, so I am happy I made the decision to add them to our menu!
Jeanne, owner of Lil Pop Shop, worked with me and communicated well. We decided on the self serve option--which meant that you could pick up a cooler ( that they provided) filled with the pops of your choosing, and then return the empty cooler on an agreed upon date after the event. They also have options where they come to your event & even serve. Jeanne outlines it all in easy to understand pdf order forms, or you can just talk with her if you prefer that! Overall, the popsicles were the best--and I’d recommend having them cater to your next event! Thanks--Jes & Brian
they always have such interesting flavors! and the workers are always so friendly!
I’ve been here quite a few times now, prepare to pay at least $4 per person but you are in for a treat! I’ve taken multiple people here now and everyone’s found something they enjoy. I usually go for a fruity pop, and this raspberry lime was delicious!
the vanilla sprinkle Popsicles are delicious Popsicles. The interior is beautiful. And i love the ice cream sandwich and the the owner is so kind (from Sufyaan)
Very rich and good ice cream!! It’s homemade I believe. I mean that’s my thought because it just doesn’t taste like your typical ice that you buy at grocery store. The menu is not overwhelming with too many different options, I like the portions that they serve for ice cream scoops, I like that they have the popsicles and other good stuff. The location is great, the service is great, definitely a place I would recommend for a quick ice cream🍦stop. I call it the neighborhood ice cream shop! Sometimes i tell myself that it’s really bad that I live so close the the “lil pop shop” because I’m always craving for their delicious products! 🙌🏾
This store offers Lil' Pop Shop gourmet popsicles and Weckerly's premium ice cream. Customers can go inside to make a purchase, but we're required to wear a mask. Staff members wear masks and remain behind a plexiglass divider.
Unlike most other ice cream brands, these products are only made with natural, wholesome ingredients. You won't find gum stabilizers, carrageenan, or chemicals here.
Most of the flavors are unusual though you can find a standard vanilla if you're not adventurous. You can buy a pint, a bowl, or a cone. A variety of toppings are available.
If you're not sure if you want to commit to an unusual flavor, the friendly staff will be happy to give you a taste.
While customers cannot eat inside the tiny store, the shop maintains a few tables in its outdoor streetery.
Depending on when you go, you may or may not have an easy time finding street parking.
I regret not providing any photos, but I was too busy spooning the cold deliciousness into my happy mouth.
While a bit pricey, I consider this place a great value. I'm looking forward to my return visit.
We recently hired Lil Pop Shop to serve popsicles for our wedding guests after the wedding and before they headed back into the city. They were incredibly easy to work with and communicative. There was the option for them to bring a cart to serve out of our just to serve out of freezer bags. When they realized that our specific situation did not require the cart, they offered to have just the person with the freezer bag, which saved us some money! Payment was super easy and the team member who came to serve was wonderful. They even offered to bring dry ice so that we could take the extra home with us. We ordered 35 chocolate salted caramel brownie, 35 matcha mochi, 35 vanilla birthday cake, 35 mango passionfruit, 35 Vietnamese iced coffee, and 20 rose lemonade. Given the chance to do it again, I would order more chocolate and iced coffee and less vanilla and matcha mochi (even though the matcha mochi is my personal favorite). Thanks to the team for being a part of our big day!
This weekend Lil Pop Shop added ice cream to their menu and I had to come update my review. This place was already outstanding, they're even better now. I just had the best peanut butter sundae of my life. These folks are always worth the trip.
The Lil Pop Shop Pop Along Truck came to my office for an event at work...everyone loved it! They allowed us to pick a lot of options and were very easy to coordinate with. Their brightly colored truck definitely stands out. Great addition to any event!
