Authentic food and warm hospitality! You cannot go wrong with a pisco sour, and if you aren’t into meat they have enough ceviche to cover the hunger. Highly recommend the Cameron al aljillo & the papa huacaina ! My favorites. Did I mention the pisco sour???
I really don't know how to start. Well, first of all I was insecure about coming to eat here today, Google gave me two alternatives to choice and I'm so glad of having chosen you despite we did not find parking near. Really the BEST Peruvian restaurant I have tried in PA, everything was amazing: incredible taste, good music, and excellent service. My Lomo Saltado was so delicious, my husband enjoyed his Jalea as well, mentioning that he hates red onions, but ate all. Maracuya Pisco Sour ¡wow! don't have words to describe how I loved it and finally Lucuma Ice Cream, fantastic flavor as if I were in Perú. I'm truly in love with your place and I hope to come back soon. Congratulations, today I'm happy because I found you
Went with my wife and we had an authentic Peruvian meal. The Pisco sours were made perfectly and the infusion of extra flavors really added to it. The ceviche was perfect. We had grilled octopus and shrimp in a garlic sauce as entrees. Both were flavorful and cooked perfectly. Finally, the staff was friendly and helpful. A wonderful dining experience.
Great atmosphere. Great food. Great cocktails. Try the Chilcano for a slightly gingery spicy but refreshing mixed drink made with Pisco and lemon juice...
I took my wife who is from Peru. I have been there multiple times. Food here was very good. She got ceviche. I got jalea. The Aji was some of the best I have ever had. Pisco spurs were very good. It's not cheap so if you are looking for cheap don't go here. Server was very nice. Very small so it's probably packed on Friday and Saturday nights.
Friendly place with good food and amazing cocktails. Have been there several times and it's always a good experience.
Varied and interesting menu, the food was delicious. Very good service; the servers seem to really care that you enjoy their food.

Wonderful place to come for dinner. The atmosphere was very nice, the food and the service were Amazing!
Delicious food, great staff, and lovely ambience. The pisco goes down smooth!
Some of the most authentic delicious Peruvian ceviche I've had anywhere! Pisco spot on. A must try if in Philly!!!
Food was awesome, pisco sour pretty good but a liitle bit weak for a peruvian customer, service was amazing. Server Mala rocks!
WOW if I could give you guys more than 5 STARS I would give you so many more.
First time at this Amazing Peruvian Restaurant and I’m so happy that a found somewhere nice to eat and enjoy their delicious Peruvian food and drinks.
Ceviche Mixto is a MUST, Papá a la Huancayna is super smooth and delicious, Jalea was so tasty and delicious as well, and also Cusqueñas brings back memories when I used to live back home in Ventanilla-Perú.
I will definitely come back and recommend to everyone I know.
The food was great and the service was phenomenal! Great atmosphere! Pisco sour was amazing! Lomo saltado delicious and my favorite papa ala huancaina !
limited vegetarian (non-seafood) options, but the quinoa and papa a la huancaina were delicious, which as a Peruvian is hard to find in the states. Also the alfajores are amazing!!!
The food was delicious and definitely real Peruvian taste. I can’t wait to go back for more
Great Place for an excellent Pisco Sour! Love this place!
Delicious Peruvian food! Really cozy lottle spot right in the town of Philly. They are a little small so call ahead if you plan to try to go for dinner on a weekend!
SOOOO GOOD iv always wanted to try peruvian cuisine and this did not disappoint! they gave us corn at the beginning which was lowkey addicting. i forget what my friend got i think it was some type of steak and they liked it and it smelled so delish. i got the shrimp fried rice and it was SO DELISH esp w the hot sauces. also they gave so much shrimp. we also got fried calamari which was def a lil oily but so crispy. there are SO MANY seafood options i def wanna go back soon n try so many more things
Excellent food, top shelf service. I asked for something extra, and I got exactly what I wanted! So did my wife!
We just happened into this place while walking (and hungry!). Absolutely loved it. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was amazing. We had calamari and paella. So so good! We saw that there was a table of people from Peru close to us and that was a good sign! They seemed to love the food also.
We went on a Thursday evening. The place was not crowded. Great seafood options and very nice atmosphere inside. The servers were very friendly and portion sizes were really good! Wr also got a flan. And it was DELICIOUS!
Would definitely recommend it and we will come back again.
We're happy we finally made it out to Vista Peru. It has been on our list for some time now. We started with the lobster ceviche and mushroom causa. Followed by the paella and sudado de pargo. Everything was delicious! We did choose to eat at the bar and the bartender was excellent.
This is a hidden gem in old city. We came here for the Super Bowl and they truly went above and beyond with service! We did not have reservations, came around 4:45, and they let us stay for the entire game. Our server was so attentive and made sure we always had drinks and food throughout the night. It felt like we were at a family gathering with great food!
We had the causas acevichada, which was seasoned mashed potatoes with ceviche, the seafood soup, and flan. I personally am not the biggest fan of seafood soup, but my fiancé loved it. This was my first time trying causas. It was delicious! Finally, the flan was some of the best I’ve had. It was creamy and flavorful. We went with my vegetarian friend. There were plenty of options for her to enjoy. Our server was vegan herself and able to recommend the best things to eat.
I would absolutely return based on the service, food, and overall experience.
Went for the first time today, a Monday, at 5:30 p.m. everything was delicious! We had Yuca Frita con salsa a la Huancaina, Lomo Saltado, and the Quinoa Salad. 10/10. I would never have ordered the quinoa salad but I tried my husband's and I will definitely get in the future. (if staff reads these, the fries in the Lomo Saltado were mushy but i used some from kids chicken fingers)
The four of us shared all of our appetizers and mains. Everything was delicious. Cozy restaurant and excellent, friendly service. The menu is extensive, varied, and full of authentic choices, so we will have to return.
Excellent food and attentive service in a beautiful environment. Wonderful, extensive and varied selection of food centered around Peruvian cuisine, but with some crossover elements as well. They also serve an amazing pisco sour! Highly recommended for a memorable evening.
A place that transports you to an incredible place. And if you want to elevate the experience you have to try Andres' cocktails. An incredible experience, the dedication and detail that goes into each drink. Andres the best bartender who will make your experience better with every drink. The 100% recommended place
Had the best time at Vista Peru. Started off with a Passionfruit Infused Pisco Sour, which I was pleasantly surprised with! Then I had the Lomo Saltado and when I tell you I will be coming back just for this dish I am not exaggerating! Had a friend in town and she told me this is a place we need to visit every time she is here! So thank you Vista Peru for a memorable time!
We ordered Causa Acevichada, Arroz chaufa de lomo a lo pobre, chicha morada and Inka kola. Everything was very delicious. I recommended them.
Amazing food.
This Peruvian restaurant is great. Food (especially fish) is great and portions are very large. Nice the fried fish, paella and ceviche. Nice atmosphere and service.
Worth going if you sre looking for a great Peruvian restaurant.
The food and service was good. I loved it.
The ambiance is great. We went on a Sunday and it started to pick up and get busy. I haven't seen a Peruvian restaurant in Philly, so this was nice. I know there are other restaurants that do have some Peruvian dishes but not a whole restaurant.
So to start, they gave us water and this fried corn snack that you can pair with your beer or your ceviche. We ordered the ceviche de Vista peru that comes with lobster, shrimp and octopus I believe. The octopus was a little overcooked, had a rubbery texture. Ceviche was very acidic, alot of lime - made it very addictive? Because I kept eating it.
Main dish we ordered steak with shrimp that came with 2 sides. We got side of fried plantains and French fries. Not all dishes come with the sides*. It came with a sauce on the side. It was good but couldn't finish after eating the ceviche.
There are more than enough choices on the menu to satisfy even the most picky eaters. The food is authentic even though I would have loved more rice to go with my paella. Everything was well seasoned and the service was great.
The only thing I would caution people about is to look at your bill!!! They auto add 20% gratuity to the beginning of the bill and there were only 3 of us. I would have given them 20% anyway but I don't like that it's auto added and at the bottom of the receipts it still said to tip.
It was my first time of being in a Peruvian restaurant. I really appreciate the manner and service at which things were organized, especially when i didn't like my order. The food was great. I know better about their food now, so i'll definitely be here or any other Peruvian restaurant.
