I never leave reviews, but I went here for an early Valentines Day dinner last night and it was too good not to. We got muscles & meatballs to start, lobster ravioli and steak entree, and cannoli and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was cooked to perfection. The muscles were huge, the sauce with the meatballs was to die for. The lobster ravioli was amazing, it came with asparagus, crab, and shrimp. The steak was cooked perfect and the flavor combo of meat cheese and sauce was impressive. Dessert was rich and delicious, on par with the rest of the meal. Best dinner I've had in a LONG time! Keep up the good work!

I am recommending Eatalia to all my friends and family because of this amazing family man and restauranteur Frank Crocetto. We all had the most delicious meal. We felt at home the moment we walked in. The food was simply superb . I hadn't seen my cousin in over 30 years (she's lived in Utah) a far cry from the streets of South Philly. I had asked for opinions on where to dine from my South Philly FB group. After many great ideas on a bunch of places, Frank had chimed in(120 comment deep) inviting us to his restaurant tucked away behind a shopping center (with plenty of parking) in Port Richmond at Cumberland and Salmon street. What a great experience. We had made reservations for 7, two ppl dropped out. No problem. We ordered some appetizers that were top notch. Stuffed portobello mushroom, stuffed long hot pepper shooters, 2 meatballs that were definitely bigger than a tennis ball, bruschetta with a very nice presentation and other Italian delights. My cousin and mom ordered gnocchi (moms in marinara, my cousins in vodka cream) her son ordered pasta primavera, his partner got chicken piccata and I ordered a special stuffed sacchetti pasta with pear and fontina cheese, draped with the most tender grilled chicken, prosciutto and peas in an alfredo sauce. Hands down the best pasta dish that I have ever eaten. (Besides my Grandmothers R.I.P.) I will tell u this, I have really become a foodie. For my Philly and surrounding suburb friends if you do not make it here. I would consider it an insult. LOL Thanks again Frank for making our mini reunion a great success. I look forward to making many more memories at your place; which consequently will now be referred to as "our" place. PS the food is worth every penny and it's very reasonable for the larger portions. It's honestly less expensive than Olive Garden. (yes I've had to go to the Dego Darkside a few times)

Great little unassuming place with really nice atmosphere. Service staff was quick and on top of everything from start to finish. Our clams, shrimp, and meatballs appetizers were delicious and the sauces were excellent. My chicken marsala entree was one of the best I've ever had. For the upscale food, service, and atmosphere the prices were better than fair. Excellent value! Highly recommended.

Food was excellent. I had the 4 cheese tortellini with prosciutto and peas and it was very good. So much I brought some home. Appetizers of meatballs and bruschetta was also very good. Easy parking in Port Richmond beats center city parking. Only down side is kitchen is open to dinning area and clothes do absorb smell from the kitchen. Would definitely recommend and go back. Friendly neighborhood atmosphere

Went here the day after our wedding last year. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The food was wonderful and was served to us fast. We went back this year on our first wedding anniversary and again the service was impeccable! It was like a year hadn't even gone by. I ordered the chicken parmesan and it was the best I've ever had. My husband ordered the lobster ravioli .Both dishes were wonderful! I highly recommend you try this cute, quaint and friendly restaurant!

As soon as you walk in, it smells heavenly...our entrees were delicious...veal marsala, black ink home made linguini with crab, shrimp and scallops and seafood risotto....followed by tiramisu....the entrees were filling ...I took leftovers home...the service was very personable and attentive...parking was free on the street in a quiet area...I'd go here before I'd trek down to center city...much less hassle and as good as any downtown destination ..will definitely return...FYI it is a small, cozy place...would not recommend for a large party..

We took my sister here for her birthday. Every course was fabulous, from the hot out of the oven brad with basil dipping sauce to the delicious cheesecake. My meal, veal mdiera was to die for. As our waiter prepared a doggy bag , I requested my dish so I could take it and lick it. Looking forward to a return visit

My husband and I used to live walking distance to here, and it is one of the things I miss most about the area! We go out of our way now to stop back. Such a cozy, relaxed atmosphere - perfect for a date night - and the best gnocchi I've ever had. Their red sauce is so good, too! The food is always spectacular. Easy to get to and never too hard to find street parking close by, either! Would highly recommend!

Simple, understated atmosphere which allows room for the tremendous menu. From Appetizers to Dessert, every bite was full of flavor and prepared, and cooked to perfection. Vincenzo, as front of house and server, was attentive and extremely courteous. Looking forward to our second experience...

Just had an amazing dinner here with my best friend who was craving Italian. I’m sad I didn’t know this was so close to home sooner! This is unlike any other dining experience I’ve had in Philly. It’s family owned and you definitely feel like you’re part of the family when you’re here with how the entire staff treats you. Will be coming back for sure!

I came to Ghiotonne about a month ago and it was easily the best dining experience I’ve had in Philadelphia. The food is incredible and the servers are very sweet. Bring a bottle(or 2) of wine and order it all, it’s all incredible. Leave full and happy. Cash only. Thank you!

Every experience here over the years has been wonderful! This has become the go-to "special occasion"/"celebrating something" dinner spot for my partner and I (and sometimes we go "just because"). Whether we take-out or eat-in, the staff is always super friendly and attentive, and the food is always delicious (with generous portions), and it's easy to discern that it's all made with quality ingredients and care.

Wonderful food, well presented. Service is EXCELLENT with lots of personality * looking at you Lydia, whom was our waitress. Great value and a BYOB. Tip well, they deserve it. *note, I am not a regular due to not living in Philadelphia. Was there 3 years ago. Same great experience!

Excellent neighborhood, home-style Italian restaurant. Friendly atmosphere with good variety of listed and nightly special menu options. Large size portions at very reasonable prices. We had the mussels antipasto, salmon and parpacella pasta. All three dishes were delicious and abundant. BYOB and cash only. Highly recommended. We will be back.

Such a lovely restaurant and staff. Their bread and dip are amazing - 100% toddler approved, just look at that face in the photos! The salads, mussels, pasta dishes, pork chop, chicken, salmon and desserts were spot on. I am now a frequent patron, that is how good the food and people are at this establishment.

Went here for my birthday and man was it a good time. Came with a large group (8) and they handled it well! BYOB, they will open all your wines for your and put your beer in the fridge, then get you it when you would like another! What an experience... When it comes to sodas they only have coke so if you want something else you should bring it. I will be back!

What a neighborhood gem this is. This BYOB has an awesome cozy vibe. The salad was a great start. Fresh mozzarella was phenomenal. Gnocchi, bacon wrapped pork filet, and orecchiette were all great, but the orecchiette took the top spot. It was served in a pink sauce with ground sausage chunks. We loved it and cannot wait to return.

My favorite Italian restaurant in Philadelphia, where the staff are so friendly and the food is in a class of its own. BYOB as well! Gets crowded on the weekends.

It's a little slow but it's so cute and the food is very good. The meatballs are to die for. Gnocchi was too heavy but could have been an off night. Chicken Parm was absolutely perfect. My date said, "you don't even have to chew it." Lol we'll be back many times.
