I prefer the South Brisbane location, but the food at Dmitri's in Northern Liberties is still very good.  Plum Pasta, grilled fish, calamari, feta, olives, etc. A very good BYOB at a very reasonable price!

Great Greek Foodin Norhtern Liberties. Went here for the first time on a cold, snowy October night. We all shared the Greek salad (sans lettuce), fried calamari, lamb, potatoes and mussels. The lamb was tender, grilled and well seasoned. the roasted potatoes with rosemary were crisp and flavorful. Calamari seemed a bit chewy but the mussels were excellent and the sauce they came in was to die for. All five of us ate for $68-- a bargain!

Response to Ray's review titled "Service and Ambience". I'm a Server at D'Mitri's 2nd St. and I can certainly understand Ray's frustration. The scenario he describes is ridiculous.
There is no such rule, now or then, regarding pulling tables together, as it is common practice. The Waiter cited, who is no longer employed there, was, quite frankly, a bad-hire. He had everyone fooled -for a bit. Unfortunately, we didn't find out just how bad he was until after he left.
Our current staff is friendly and accommodating and would never treat their customers, or their livelihood, in that manner.
Also, we now take reservations and credit cards.
We will attempt to contact Ray to rectify this. I have no doubt that we can change his mind

This place was great! Super nice people, classy decor, good food. A huge warning, they are cash only! The only reason they didn't get five stars from me was the unfortunate choice to douse everything in red wine vinegar. Otherwise, delicious, definitely a date night kind of restaurant.

I am usually not a fan of Mediterranean but this place had great food. We sat at the bar and watching the cooks cooking added to the experience. The grilled cheese, platter of some sort and this shrimp dish all were perfect to drink with a glass of wine. This place is BYOB so don't forget to bring a bottle of wine to go with this wonderful food.

I LOVE THIS PLACE - it is great for a group of 4-6. The dishes are all family style... we always leave super full and end up gasping at the low bill! I am a vegetarian and I really love their menu there are tons of options! GO and enjoy! They dont take reservations so just keep that in mind!

This place is super cute. Small plates kind of place. BYOB. Inside and outside seating. If you have a few in your group, try sitting at the counter you can watch the chefs make your meals. It’s very busy every single time I have come, but that doesn’t deter me from coming. Mediterranean food with a flare.

Out of towner who went into the city for dinner with 3 others. BYOB was fine. Went early on a Friday night to avoid the crowd. We were 4 of 12 there at first. Two hours later, 7ish, place was packed. We had most of the menu, and it didn't disappoint. The type of food you could eat everyday and not feel guilty about. Greek coffee at the end with Pots de Creme was fabulous. Service was knowledgeable and sterile, yet warm and welcoming. I know confusing, but the service was good, including the members of the open kitchen sitting center stage.

Came here in January 2019. What a fantastic restaurant. Food was fresh and the atmosphere was warm. I love the simplicity of their offerings and that I could leave with a full belly but not feel unhealthy.

This is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. This has the most delicious pita-based meals will all sorts of different things to order to eat with pita. If you like Greek food then this place is perfect. I recommend the octopus!

You want authentic Mediterranean cuisine? Congrats...you found it! A small menu consisting of many seafood dishes, lamb, worlds greatest humus, amazing beets, and spanokopita ( spinach pie) to name a few. Specials weekly. Your food prepared in grills visible in restaurant behind counter. Romantic ambiance. Small and intimate. Once doors open, those waiting in line fill up tables fast and then you're outta luck waiting a while. No reservations accepted. Priced a la carte. Very reasonable. Pita is yummy. Sometimes a bit scorched. Just try this place. You'll swear you're off on a vacation by some quaint seaside Italian or Greek village.

I save the 5 stars for the rare experience that leaves me feeling 100% satisfied across the board. The service was impeccable, despite it being a busy Saturday night, everything was seamless, no moments of wondering where the server was. Additionally they were genuine and pleasant and really went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed. The food, oh Lawd, the FOOD!!! We ordered a whole grilled branzino, Greek salad and hummus to share and the three of us were pleasantly over-stuffed. We vowed on monthly meets up here before we had even made it to dessert, which was a orange almond cake to die for. FANTASTIC experience!

There is no place more perfect than Dmitri's. I genuinely believe that. No fish fresher, food cooked to perfection. Ambiance is key. I have been eating there since I was 5, and I'll never stop.
