Great venue, great food. Easy to park or walk from train. Came to see Southern Culture On The Skids with The Gtv's. Arrived early so we'd have dinner & was informed that there were no tables. A very helpful hostess went above & beyond to help us out. She found an available spot for us to sit! Very attentive server. Love the vegetarian options. We had veggie cheesesteaks & fries, veggie wings and drinks. Sound is great from any spot in the venue. My only complaint (not WCL's fault) is the loud chatter at the bar during both the opener & headliner. Other than that, had a great time. We'll be back.
Cool venue! Easy to get to. Sound system was excellent, staff was classy and professional. Plenty of room for the artist's crowd to move, yet, the intimacy of the crowd shrunk the place in a good way. Will definitely see another show here

Absolutely fantastic venue! Wonderful parking out front, great food including vegetarian and vegan options at reasonable rates, nice beer selection, nice drink menu, clean bathrooms, great vibe, and wonderful acts. Small enough you can actually see anywhere and even interact with artists! I have been there twice in just about 3 weeks. Favorite venue in Philly! And waiters and bartenders really nice!
Awesome venue. Good food, food drinks, great staff. My only critique is the bathrooms, which could use some maintenance. (A couple door locks don't work etc)
World Cafee Live was a wonderful venue to see a live band. The food was really good and I enjoyed their Happy Hour prices. Great customer service. I would definitely recommend and I will be back again.
Downstairs was a great venue with a lot of great history, apparent even to this first time visitor from out-of-town. Nice size with great sight-lines.
Took the entire family to see Dirty Dozen Dance Band. Our server Sara did a great job. Food was good. Music was great. Would definitely return.

Great venue, good food, friendly service in an area of Philly that you will enjoy visiting. The Rippingtons were fabulous, they always are! I will definitely go again, every seat is a good one, no bad seats, very intimate. Do it, you'll be glad you did! Thank you for an awesome evening of fine arts and food.

It was my first time there, I didn't have anything to eat but the staff who serve drinks were wonderful. A big shout out to Shane! The venue itself was magnificent, can't wait to go back
Nice venue for events requiring space for about 100 or more. Multiple floors so you can spread people out. The main stage area can be viewed from the mezzanine level, bar area and floor level. Service was excellent as we had servers continuously providing appetizers during our special event. Plenty of street parking and there are parking lots within minutes of the venue. Great location in University City!
Had a quick bite to eat an hour before heading downstairs to see a show here and the food did not disappoint. You can table reserve here which is really nice. The ambiance is upscale, comfy & cozy. Time it right so you can park alongside Walnut Street & just walk up to this spot. I ordered the salmon meal with asparagus & pureed potatoes which was really good. My only complaint are the portion sizes, they're small. I could have used a side salad with this but I didn't want to take away from my stars reviewing for this. My friend ordered the shrimp salad which she also enjoyed. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to grab something that's in the area that doesn't want to wait long to eat, but wants good fresh food. Our waiter was very attentive & knew the menu well. Not many options, but just enough in my opinion. Check this place out for yourself folks. Thank me later. It's worth the visit.
Absolutely perfect evening! If there were small bites options that would put the icing on the cake! However, the singers and band were exceptional! I would certainly attend another candlelight.

My wife and I went on Saturday, Oct 7th, 2023, and had a great time. We saw Joe Jamieson and Jim Florentine. They were fantastic. We started off with the broccoli fritters and sauteed beets, and for the meals I had the steak, and the wife had the salmon. We had a great night with friends and family, Robin and Mike. They staff was awesome and friendly. Just a great time all the way around. We will be coming back again and again. Thank for a great night everyone.
Fantastic music venue. Smaller, more intimate. I'm 60 y.o., so I don't like music that busts my eardrums... and you get that here (like any venue). The program was WXPN's holiday show... fun groups who played classic and some newer holiday music. I'll return!!
Food was excellent, has the broccoli fritters, Cajun catfish with grits, and the chocolate torte. Everything was perfect and delicious. The show was amazing as well. Highly recommend.

Whether you're looking for a cozy spot to relax in the Lounge, or a spacious hall to rock out in the Music Hall, World Cafe Live has something for everyone. The sound quality is superb, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the events are diverse and exciting. I've been to World Cafe Live several times and I always have a blast. It's one of my favorite places to go in Philadelphia and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves music and fun.
This was our second time attending this quartet's performances hosted by Fever and they are always incredible. I cannot speak highly enough about their shows. Absolute class acts.
This was my second time at the venue. The concert was great even though the patrons were loud in back near the bar. Did they really come to enjoy the music or their friends?
Fantastic venue to attend and watch a show. First time there was on Wednesday and I can't wait to see what is in the upcoming schedule. Probably the best concert experience I've ever had. A great bar set up and easily accessible bathrooms were also nice to have. Paul Cauthen is a must see and put on an awesome show!
