Wow, really excellent Thai!!!
In town on business and was thrilled to grab a bite on a Friday night with the crowds hopping up and down the streets. I figure a line is a good sign of good food and that theory held up true tonight. We ended up walking and immediately getting seated for dinner service just before several other groups.
Service was awesome - very friendly and helpful. We ended up ordering some pad Thai and their braised beef ribs curry. That curry was absolutely killer… so good.
Overall, loved the scene, the food, and appreciated a great team working the restaurant. Would definitely go back!
We went out for a dinner. Food is excellent and authentic.Their place is spacious and their service is superb. You can share your plate with someone. We were not informed that there is an additional charge for credit cards. We highly recommend this place for Thai food lovers in Philadelphia.
Wonderful experience. I came here to celebrate my birthday. We ordered 6 different cocktails, an appetizer, and 2 entrees. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. I very much look forward to returning.
Best Thai food I have tried in center city Philadelphia. The food looked and tasted like authentic Thai cuisine. The Tom Kha soup was the best soup I've had in a while! If you like spicy food go for the Thai spicy option. The service was very good, the staff were well mannered and very helpful. I definitely recommend everyone who loves asian food.
Great food! Came here with some coworkers for happy hour. The happy hour starts a bit early but is still reasonable. There was a great variety of drinks and happy hour dishes. I especially liked the pork skewers and spicy basal vegatable fried rice. The house marg and Long Thailand Iced Tea (not a HH drink) were also pretty good. Furthermore, the restaurant was beautifully decorated and the staff was really friendly. They didn't rush us out even over an hour after we finished, which was really kind. Overall, I would definitely come back and am interested in trying some of their entrees.
Great Thai food! It can get a little busy but the food is work h the wait. Every dish has been excellent and I love that they have some harder to find curries.
Yummy Thai, great curry flavors. I had tom kha soup and panang shrimp. The "Thai spicy" level was just the right heat level without covering the complex flavors of the curry. Big shrimp, perfectly done.
Great place for dinner! Food was delicious. Chicken satay and Firecracker was amazing. Loved the kang singhol kaea (lamb curry), kang leung pla (salmon curry) and chicken pad thai noodles. Boom bai Kai (Mumbai chicken curry) was okay.
Service was nice. The restaurant had a great ambience.
Among the top spots I had Thai Food, along with another place in NY (Thai Villa). Get the curry dishes. Everything I tried at this place was good, if not amazing. It did take us long to get seated, but the food made up for all the service shortcomings.
I had both the Pad Thai and the Boom Bai Kai. The Pad Thai was good. Not too heavy, over-seasoned, and nice. It was a little on the lightly seasoned side, but I prefer that over food being too heavy and hard to eat. The Boom Bai kai was really good. The curry was creamy, coconut-flavored, and herbal. It paired perfectly with rice. The Pad Thai was super savory and have a nice flavor of soy sauce and fish sauce, along with that signature Pad Thai stir fry taste.
My friends got the Panang Si Krong On, Kang Lewan, and the Pad Cha. They were all very good. Pad Cha was a little salty, but nothing too crazy. I thoroughly enjoyed trying all their dishes. Panang Si Krong On was soooo good. I could go a long time on how each were so good, but honestly you should just try it for yourself. I really enjoyed this place.
The atmosphere is good too. Ethnic, but also polished with fine-dining elements like dim lighting and table cloths. Our server, Melissa, did a good job of making sure we were accommodated with everything we needed. I will come back here soon.
Update 6/18/23- Visited this place again was was not disappointed. Quality was exactly like how I had it the first time.
I will suggest that you choose at least the basic spice level for any dish. If you ask to have a dish be less spicy than usual, they will water down the sauce/curry and reduce both flavor and spice. Just something to be aware of.
First time trying this place on Mother’s day evening.
Food was fantastic. all ingredients were fresh.
Portions were quite big.
Lot of options for Vegetarians as well.
Dont miss their delicious Mango Sticky Rice dessert.
Service was great!
