This place has some amazingly delicious food. We started off with the sliced beef cold cuts for appetizer and some stir fried string beans for our entree. We also ordered the fish where you add additional toppings at additional cost per toppings. It range from $3.99 to $5.99 per toppings. We always get the garlic sauce with a little spicy. The fish dish can run a bit high if you add a lot of topping but it’s definitely worth the price. The food comes out quickly and the service is decent. I recommend this place for any seafood lovers. And definitely order the stir fried string beans.

As a person that does not enjoy spicy dishes and fish, I must say that this restaurant did a very good job changing my mind. The variety of flavors are all unique and each one tastes amazing! The fish options are a little tricky though. In my opinion, it is important to ask the staff for their opinions on the fish because not everyone has the same preferences! The tdlapia is definitely my favorite in terms of volume, flavor and texture. Their garlic sauce is amazing for non spice enjoyers and their chopped peppers if you are feeling adventurous. The pricing is decent for the taste of the food. The service could be better but 9-10/10 experience overall!

Highly recommend the spicy fish pot, very flavourful, right spices. We also loved the eggplant pork in garlic sauce and chicken with mixed peppers. The house special fried rice also met the expectations. Definitely coming back again. Special mention: complementary brown sugar jelly for dessert. Yum!

Servers were helpful with questions about the menu. Food was all tasty and only medium spice and mala - I was hoping for a little more. Very nice clean restaurant and approachable for someone who has not had Sichuan style Chinese food. I had the crispy pork with long hot peppers add chili oil and the cold noodles with chili oil and would recommend both, good portion sizes

Amazing food. Get the fish hotpot it’s what they are known for. Spring for a high quality fish and pick your own veggies. Other nice spicy sichuan style dishes available as well. All great taste. Quick service, not super warm but very attentive. Bring a group you will really love this place!

Legitimately one of the best meals of my life. We came here a few times before and had great meals, but the fish pot is the real deal. We got the black bass with black pepper sauce and there’s no turning back. Absolutely amazing and can’t wait to go back.

The food here is delicious. My family comes here often for the grilled fish and various other dishes, all of which we’ve enjoyed. Even their desserts are yummy. Highly recommend.

The overall taste of fish was not as good as what i expected but was okay. I’d still recommend it to someone who has never had a fish pot for the experience. We ordered the flavor of spicy peppercorn for the fish pot, which looks really spicy but it was actually pretty mild. So I would encourage someone who has been wanting to try but being scared of spicy food to give it a shot. The green beans tasted really good tho if you wanna order some veggies to eat with your fish, the green bean is highly recommended.

By far, out of all the food we tried in Philly, this was one of my favorites! We got string beans, sour chicken, and pickled cabbage with sliced fish. Ordered rice to pair as well. You must order rice! I'm actually drooling writing this review and thinking about the food. Everything was so extremely flavorful. Welcome to flavortown, baby!! The sauce for the sour chicken was so good. I need a vat of that to bring home. Please sell it!!! We had enough leftovers that my friend was able to bring it home as well!

I specifically go here for their spicy pots! It’s spicy, it’s sizziling, it’s deliciousness. Do note that they will come in “sharing size” aka BIG! They gave us some side dishes while we wait for our food, and some jelly tea dessert to cool down our tongue after the burning from the spicy pot. Their service is also prompt and friendly!

The menu at this location is a solid 5 to 10 min read. Most of the items on this menu are meant to be shared and as such I opted for the lunch special as I was dining alone. I went with the Kung Pao chicken and was happy with the choice as it was delicious. The interior of this location is well appointed and fashionably trendy. Some of the food selection on the menu (braised duck head, pig ears and chicken feet... among others) are definitely interesting and somewhat traditional.

Got the cold noodles and the big tilapia with two flavors: spicy (first flavor) and chopped peppers flavor, with tofu and veggies. Everything was better than we expected and so delicious!!! I would definitely come back here just for this and to try the other dishes. As a Chinese American, I hate to say it but it's really 'authentic' Sichuan food, even down to the menu. The fish is probably one of my favorite Chinese dishes I've ever had in the US. Service was good

Anyone who doesn’t like the taste of this place simply just hates flavor. I’m actually born and raised in Sichuan. Been coming here for years. Had to leave a review today because my friend said it’s only 4.2. Ridiculous. I’ve tried every single Sichuan spot in Philly and Xun Yu is by far the best one (Emei not bad but not spicy enough) Flavor is on point, spicy is on point, price a bit steep but I still pay for it everytime. If you a real Sichuan brotha just come here no need to think twice.

Tried something new with this kind of fish presentation. It came in this beautiful elevated dish with a flame underneath. Absolutely loved the flavor, complexity, comforting feel, and add-on options. With the add-ons, it was enough food for 3 of us. Such a big beautiful varied menu. Would definitely come back and try something new again!
