Not fancy but not frivolous. If you’re going to indulge a decadent predilection for prosciutto— a taste which even my recent transition to flexitarianism hasn’t yet extinguished — you’ll want to do it here. At least, unless you know of a small area deli owned by an Italian American family. Good deli makes life worth living.

We have an office near by and often use Primos catering for our work events. Recently, I scheduled a delivery for a work event due to start at 12pm. The delivery arrived at 11:15 (15 min ahead of scheduled delivery time) but I realized that I had only ordered 1 tray when I needed 2. I ran over to Primos and explained to them I accidentally ordered 1 tray which would not be enough and would they be able make me just a couple extra sandwiches by 12. They went above and beyond to quickly make me a small tray when they obviously already had a lot on their plates. Quick, delicious, and the team always goes above and beyond.

On to the next one, this was my final Philly cheesesteak experience during my trip to Philadelphia. I am happy that I came here because this was the best Philly cheesesteak I had! The cheesesteak I ordered was topped with provolone cheese and fired onions. I loved the sesame seed hoagie bun! It was fresh and toasted; it had the perfect crunch to it with every bite. The provolone cheese was all over, but it was all over in a good way. There was an even amount of cheese distributed throughout all 10” of the sandwich. The fried onions were cooked at a not so super crunchy state. I was incredibly happy that the fried onions were cooked better because the three other places I went to lightly cooked their fried onions at a crunchy state. I was beginning to think that was the norm. But PrimoHoagies cooked them just the way I like it! PrimoHoagies also has exceptional customer service! I was hugely impressed with how kind the cashier and cook were to me. Both ladies Both ladies greeted me as I walked into the restaurant. Both were helpful with the menu. They did not try to rush me into ordering. They were both respectful and treated me right, and I appreciate that. Because of both the delicious cheesesteak and the exceptional customer service here, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. The next time I am in Philadelphia, I will be sure to come here again. Thank you.

I was in Philly for a few hours and really wanted a good authentic cheesesteak. Their menu was a little confusing, so I didn't know what toppings were even available, so I ended up with just meat, cheese, and onions on bread. That being said, the meat and bread were both very good, but due to not having condiments, it was a little dry. I'd like to see a re-designed menu if I came back

Loved the food and atmosphere! The customer service was excellent and they clearly are putting effort into their image and business practices, which says a lot. Loved my chicken cheesesteak and the many options I had for it, and hubby and our German exchange student raved about their beef cheesesteaks.

Very nice people here, very polite and appreciative. Hoagies we ordered were great.

I work in the neighborhood, and I love my Primos! So it was a no brainier to get the super deluxe tray and large pepperoni and cheese tray for my fiance's 40th birthday. The staff was AMAZING as usual, and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The staff on 3rd n Market are top knotch 🤘 Thank you, LisaGobirds 💚
