The 1-Star reviews for this place are a crime!!! Finally ordered from here after being deterred by some previous reviews and incredibly upset with ourselves we haven’t been eating here all along!!
Food was excellent—got lamb vindaloo, chicken korma, veggie samosas and garlic naan. Everything was fantastic! Ordered pick-up and took about 20 minutes. Guy at the restaurant was friendly.

Finally decided to give this place a try after holding off due to average Google Maps reviews and I'm very glad I did! Food had generous portions, was prepared quickly, and tasted amazing! We tried palak paneer, bhindi masala, veggie samosas, and garlic naan and it was a lot of tasty food for a good price! Will definitely be going here again.
After seeing mixed reviews, I finally decided to try it. I ordered palak paneer, veggie samosas, and garlic naan. When I arrived it was ready and neatly packed. Staff was helpful and nice. All of my food containers were filled to the brim and samosas were a perfect size. Food was good and I’ll definitely get a few meals out of the amount provided. I’ll definitely order here again.
First time ordering.... order was from GRUBHUB... AND I must say the food was very very good I will order from here next time I'm in South Philly.... Chicken wings with very good and tasteful and I love the garlic Naan...I haven't eaten my order of Lamb Samos yet..... Everything was hot and smell delicious and my delivery driver was fast and polite
I love this place! The food is consistently good. The Gobi Manchurian & Veggie Samosas are two of my favorite anywhere. The chicken dishes are also among my favs, decent portion sizes, spice levels are good and their green chutney is awesome! They are open late and delivery is quick.

I am new to Indian food and have wanted to explore the menu. I have eaten there twice now and the food is very good. The spices and seasoning is well balanced. I feel as if I was receiving a home cooked meal.
Tandoori of India is outstanding- both the food and their delivery. We ordered the chicken mekhni (butter chicken) and the chicken shahi korma, and they were both incredibly flavorful and delicious. The chicken 65 is possibly my favorite, though! The flavors are amazing, and it’s not so stupid spicy that you can’t taste them all. When the food gets here it’s piping hot and very fresh. We will always order Indian from this place, we haven’t ever been disappointed!
I honestly love their food! Always fresh and hot when it arrives. Best butter chicken I have had in Philly, and I have tried a lot of other places. And the naan is always warm and pillow soft! Delicious!!
I ordered take out for the first time at this place. Small place, nothing fancy, customer service was good, no complaints. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and it was delicious! Loved the creamy sauce! The Roti wasn’t what I expected but it was ok. My husband ordered Lamb Karahi which he loved, (he’s a fan of spicy food and his was a little spicy for my taste) I can definitely say I’ll be back to try something else from their menu.

I got the Chicken Tikka Masala special, an appetizer and desert all for under $45 with delivery. Great taste, arrived hot, clean presentation.
We found this place by word of mouth, a local Uber driver. Visiting from Vermont we rely on good reviews listed online and local recommendations. Not only was the food amazing & full of flavor but the owner of this restaurant was so kind, humble & sincere. We’ve come to understand there is a lot of competition from many Indian restaurants in the area. We highly recommend Tandoori of India because the food is delicious and the owner & his staff are so kind! The service we received was 5-star.
Their Chicken Biryani is good but it has more raisins. Chilli paneer also tasted good.
Favorite Indian food in the city, I like better than indeblue. Favorites dishes include Gobi Manchurian, samosa chat, mulligatawany soup, and of course butter chicken! I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ordered though. Food also comes very quickly with delivery which is a nice plus.
This place is really nice and cozy. The staff is extremely pleasant and very helpful and attentive. I know you don't want a review about atmosphere, but it counts. Not that many seats as of now, but they offer take out as well. I was able to get a seat and the food was phenomenal. The food was fresh and really good. The menu offers alot and it has many options for those of us who need different options. The food was so good and I will be definitely coming back here again!
I have tried a lot of places for Indian food in Philly and this one is the best. Extremely flavorful dishes and you can't beat the prices. They even give you an additional 20 percent off if you call. My favorite is the meat samosas (SO GOOD), the chili chicken (pretty good and only 8 bucks), and the chicken mahkni (AMAZING since I ordered it spicy, but VERY HOT)
Excellent food! I don't understand why the Karen's are hating on this place. Everything was hot, tasty, and the prices were great. 10/10 will go again.
