Fair prices, somewhere between a bodega/papi/corner store and grocery store. Family that owns it is super nice. They have nearly everything you need in a pinch.
This place is always here for me in a pinch, whether it’s grabbing groceries, medicine or a falafel sandwich. The sisters who work here are really sweet.
I live close to liberty choice, I've been frequenting this location for a awhile now. The food is definitely better than fast food and the homemade cookies in particular might be the best cookies I've ever had. The female employees are super nice, caring, accommodating and friendly. With that being said, I can't say the same about a few of the male employees. On multiple occasions I've received the wrong food after ordering over the phone to a male employee which resulted in me paying extra. I've also observed the careless/negative demeanor of male employees while preparing food in the rear kitchen area of the store. Absolutely amazing cookies though! A hidden treasure!
I've lived near this place for years and it's truly one of the staples of the neighborhood. They have the best falafel in the city, a great Middle-Eastern sweets shop and excellent vegetarian/vegan options. All of the food they prepare is priced reasonably, and the grocery items are all standard bodega prices but they carry lots of otherwise hard to find items.
This store has EVERYTHING! I was surprised at the variety and volume of products this convenience/grocery store carries. Dry goods, dairy (fancy euro butter --they have it!), general house paper and cleaning products etc. I took a pic of their Bob's red mill section to remind myself how much stuff they carry. My favorite though is the back refrigerated section where they carry housemade tabouleh, hummus and falafel 💗🤩💗 so good!! Easy to grab on your way to the El at Berks Station for a quick and healthy lunch. The cookies in the front are pretty awesome as well.
Best friendly and reasonably priced convenience market that always seems to have what you are looking to find. Plus Mike's family's own Olive Oil is the best Olive Oil I have ever tasted and cooked - so pure and fresh and reasonably priced. Reasonably moved to the neighborhood and discovered the Liberty Choice Market who always are welcoming and friendly. On bad weather days especially - great to know you can trust Liberty Choice to be close by to get your shop done easily. Thank you! Highly recommend! Best, neighbor Vicvtor
Cute store. They recently (2017) redid a lot of the store. Don't expect much fresh produce there but they have plenty of refrigerated and shelve stable options. I often buy ORGANIC milk or eggs there on my way home. They also have really good pita bread.
As usual, this place always has great food and doesn't take too long to make to order. I love the Falafel. I buy them by the dozen and in sandwiches. Very clean, very nice folks.

This place is a community staple. If you notice, most of the negative reviews have zero to do with food. Some people need to be catered to and that’s just not going to happen like that in Philadelphia. In other words, don’t let the overly privileged patrons trick you into skipping past this jewel.

The restaurant business can be Extremely overwhelming at times, that's why I won't work in it. Liberty Choice has a huge selection of items to order. Its Very convenient, the business hours are great, and the delivery minimum is fare.
This place has some of the best falafel sandwiches coming from a middle eastern. The staff in back were very nice and food was handed straight to me although they stopped
Making food because of COVID I can’t wait till I see the food spot open again.
Some of the best falafel in the area. Not just a convenience store, this is more of a grocery store and deli after the work they have done. Some of the friendliest cashiers in the area and a pleasure to go there.
