Hands down our favorite bagels! NY style bagels are way way overrated when you compare them to Philly Style!! The bagel spreads are equally amazing! And the staff are best and the nicest!! Love you guys! Thanks for being right around the corner!! Our boys always get excited when we say we are going to the bagel shop Bc you guys are "The Bagel Shop" in their opinion.
On the way to friends stopped here on a whim. Darn good bagels, pleasant counter staff, decent price. Crowded but that is because the bagels are so good.
Holy crap these things are great. I won't talk too much about the boiling in beer or cooking them in pizza ovens because everyone else already has, so instead:
We first found Philly Style Bagels randomly while in Fishtown visiting a friend, one bite and we were hooked, and now it wouldn't be a trip to Philly without stopping there.
Now we are moving to Philly soon, and these guys are a part of what made up our mind.
Oh, and I haven't mentioned the coffee yet. They serve and sell bags of Counter Culture, which has turned out to be our favorite brand of coffee, ever. My wife used to be a barista, and I've been a coffee snob since forever, I even attempt to roast my own beans occasionally - which I'm sorta OK at... but NOTHING compares to Counter Culture. So good.
One more thing, GET THE LOX(!!!!) - we love lox on our bagels and this stuff beats Zabars. I don't know where they are getting it, but it tastes like the best salmon sushi plus smoke and salt.
<3 !!
The bagels are great, and the staff is on point. Thankful (finally!) for good bagels in Philly.
I am writing this review from memory–as the last time I was at Philly Style Bagels they were #$%^&*ing sold out, ha! Every bagel I have ever had from that place was 100, and it's a pleasure to buy stuff right where it is being made. But be warned–get there early if you want to snag a PS Bagel; consider following their TWT or Insta so you know if they hit zero! Also: it is an odd pleasure to stay bundled up and have a nice hot bagel out in the cold in Palmer Park. –mcget/trophbikesPHL
Visiting from Mid Coast Maine. One of my bucket lists was to get a good bagel while here. Non-existent in my area. Staying in Fishtown, found PSB. Check one of the list. Not just a good bagel. These are some of the Best Bagels I've had.
Thanks for your focus on a quality product!
Amazing food and great staff, can't ask for more than that :)

BEST bagels ever !! Great staff :)
Fresh & tasty ... Excellent cream cheese too
The bagel was fresh out of the oven and covered in seeds. The Salmon spread was especially tasty!
Right around the corner from my daughter's school at St. Laurentius...my boyfriend and I are here at least 3 times a week. Not to mention, we've been stalking PSB since they were at Beddia. Best bagel in Philly and beyond.
Tasty fresh and fun! At leadt 50 characters well bagels dont get any bettet sorry murray's
That whitefish thooooo (had to make 50 characters)
As a native New Yorker, bagels are bangbangs! Get in here!
BEST bagel I ever had ❤ Staff very very nice❤ Welcome to Fishtown ❤
Amazing! Best in all of Philly everyone should support this amazing small business!
The egg, bacon and cheese was great! Even better on an egg bagel. An experience I would like to repeat, but no so often I can give it all the stars. Bigger and better bagels exist elsewhere in the world. On a hundred point scale, 83/100.
Their BLT (with everything bagel + spicy mayo) simply does not miss. The bagel is lightly toasted and bacon is crisped to perfection with the ideal mayo ratio. I will get it again and again and again. The most reliable and consistent bagel spot in fishtown!!! Please don’t ever change <3
Sandwich was great. I ordered a sandwich BLT on a cinnamon raisin bagel, cream cheese and a egg with a large lemonade. Phenomenal! You have to order online and pick it up at the window. The scam links are displayed on the windows. The cashier was pleasantly nice. Highly recommend a visit. Also if you solve the pictogram on the pick up window you win a prize.
The mecca of bagels.... Every time I go there, I always wish I had ordered two in the end. The cream cheese is phenomenal and the bagels always crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Options to order in person at the window as well as online. Finding parking is the only hassle honestly
Best bagels in the city, hands down. Located right on the other side of Palmer Park, you have the luxury of selecting your bagel(s), or bagel sandwich and then hanging out in the park while you eat. Be warned though - especially on weekends you will be waiting outside in line for a bit. They move people through pretty quickly and usually still have a decent stock if you're towards the end of the line, but occasionally they can run out of the their more popular options. Bottom line - get there early if you have to but do not skip these bagels. My mouth is watering as I type this...
Oh man if you haven’t tried Philly bagels go now. I had the hash brown bagel and it was so good. Ashley took my order and she’s friendly easy going. I will def go back. The hours are limited though. Maybe that’s a good thing because if the hours were longer I’d be there everyday.
Very edible bagels, but wasn't that impressed. Not too much flavor and small in size. $8.30 for my Sesame Bagel w/ Scallion Cream Cheese, Avocado, Cucumber, and Tomato. Parking is extremely limited also, but that's Fishtown for you.
It was good. It was unexpectedly spicy and the bagels are not toasted unless you click the button when you order online. Don't forget to click that you want them toasted! A more reasonable default might be to always toast. Getting up
Really delicious Everything Bagel w/ Lox & scallion cream cheese 🤤 this bagel shop is really clean & professional. Everyone in their kitchen was wearing gloves and a face mask and the cashier was very polite! I will come back here every time I visit Philly!
I found my local bagel shop!
The good:
Easy online ordering, lots of selections for breakfast and lunch. The ratios of bagel to fillings is perfect. You know a bagel is good if it stands on its own without being toasted.
Love the whitefish salad on everything bagel.
The bad:
I wish they had a sausage option to the breakfast sandwich to switch it up from the bacon.
Love Philly style and have loved them since they were a weekend only pop up in Beddia’s old space. Great everything bagels, my favorite of theirs.
Extraordinary bagels coming out of this little corner spot, best in the city imo. I can’t eat a bagel anywhere else without thinking about Philly Style, it’s simply a 1/1 experience. These bagels hit different.
To everyone leaving the “bagels too hard” reviews - the truth is....you are too soft.
Note: they are Take-out only right now and you must call ahead! Hours are “7am until we sell out” bc they always sell out before closing. If you want options, earlier the better. I check their Instagram story for updates:)
Staff is 10/10. Woman on the phone is always so nice and personable. She takes my name first and always ends with “thanks Reid”. Dude at the window/register with the glasses is a vibe and manages to pour the perfect cream/coffee ratio every damn time! I love you for that bro🙏 Bagels and sandwiches are flawless every time thanks to the consistency of the kitchen crew.
I don’t usually write long reviews like this, had to express my love for Philly Style in this one♥️
i love this place!👍🏾
the bacon, egg & cheese on a everything bagel with hash brown and no spicy mayo, is my most definite "go to" sandwich!🥯😋
and i always make sure to get a side of extra bacon, just for my pups 🐕❤️🥓
