This don't make no dog-on sense!!! I show up & was greeted by an uber mellow but confident server. No other customers were there & I was second guessing my choice. I ordered a chicken steak & a regular beef cheese steak. I get home, unpack & TOOK ONE BITE...It was at that moment I realized the cooked made this steak with pure love. I shall return, thank yall!!!
This place was awesome I went here to get a cheesesteak and I end up ordering a chicken cheesesteak, the guy put his foot in it, as long as he works here I will never go back to the one in Germantown again

At first my order I called in was ready as soon as I got to Max's. However when I was ready to eat my cheese steak. It was not what I order. Very upset at this point. However I called and spoke to the manager Rich. He offered for me to come & get a new one. However I was really busy & couldn't go back. So he told me apologize for the inconvenience and said when I could get back he would provide me with a $25.00 gift card. Well it took me a few days to get back there. I called when I was on my way and Rich wasn't there. No one( Mally) wasn't aware of my issue. She took the time to reach Rich on his private # explained the situation. She called me back said it was no problem and my gift card was there. I went to get it order the cheese steak once again my way. She helped walk me to my car and was very polite & kind. When I got home and took 1 bite, I had to call and thank her personally for getting my order. I appreciate there kindness & thoughtfulness. I would recommend them anytime. I don't eat out often. Especially junk food. That was delicious and we'll worth it. π
The steak sandwich was very good, long wait for take out. Workers was nice. Bartender didn't make a good long island ice tea. I don't think he was the regular bartender.
If you don't mind the rough location you will get by far the best cheesesteaks in Philly. If you wear anything of the Philly sports teams you're golden π

This chicken cheese steak was EVERYTHING!! I will not buy another Chicken cheese steak from anywhere else. Spot on with the onions condiments, toppings .....πππ The French fries.. BLAH....I like crinkle cut
Service could have been better being though I was the only person in the establishment. Enjoyed the wings platter but not the chicken cheese steak.
Well its called chuck alibi not maxs but the food is great but its made fresh so order ahead or you will be waiting a while.
