Amazing food and great atmosphere. The history in this building and the people who come here are both awesome!! Jack the Owner is a class act, God Bless him and his wife !
We were in the room upstairs. The stage was in a weird location (I think if a camera was placed high up and broadcasted on the screen by the bar this issue would be resolved). The downstairs is more spacious with the larger bar. The crowd seemed lively but not sketchy at all. Parking is terrible so carpool or uber/lyft there if at all possible.
My favorite new place. Karaoke on Friday and I met some people who like me, Like to do Karaoke. And I think the Dude who runs the Karaoke is Cool. Plus Jerry and others are Cool to sing with.

Love this place, quiet and out of the way
Nice bar with live music and artsy types which is great. One dude did get drunk and tried starting fights with everyone but was thrown out. I ate food there which was decent. Will visit here again.

Overall the tavern is a great place to gather with good food, drinks, free parking and friendly atmosphere and staff.
Real cool low key kinda place
Good local dive, and I mean that with love. Maintenance could be better, bathrooms could be cleaner. Decent size stage. Some parking in back.
A gem of a bar in U City/W Philly. Staff is the best, and always a pleasant experience when I'm there. Don't forget about their awesome take out food!

Nice place. The dance floor was shaking a little. That was scary I think maybe too many people upstairs. There weren't many people on the first floor
