I got the steak sandwich with cheese. I'm not exactly sure what else was on my cheesesteak. Between masks, plexiglass, and accents I had no idea what the young woman was asking me so I was nodding my head ‘yes’ to everything. I really liked the roll. I don't know if you call it a Cuban roll but it's the fat version of a hoagie roll. It was nicely toasted. The meat was okay. I would have liked more meat. The sauces were very tasty without being overly hot. The sauce really made the sandwich. The lettuce and tomato were nice and fresh.

The food is excellent. ***** Different varieties of fresh sandwiches, food plates, sweets, coffee, juices, and sodas. Service can be better **** because of the waiting, some people order in advance. The atmosphere is okay *** depending on who enters when you arrive. Remember, you're not in a great location/ghetto.

The bistec sandwich is amazing. Always India over Goya when it comes to Malta. The person working the register never seems happy to be there but the cook seems eager to please. The bistec sandwich keeps me coming back.

Freshly baked bread, one of the the top 2 sandwich shops in north Philly. Employees attitude was a positive and welcoming experience. An island feel. Will definitely return.
