Southside does comfort food right! BBQ lamb chops are on point. Fried rice has a hint of West Indian seasoning. Candied sweet potatoes os delicious.
The food is delicious. The appearance of the store is completely unappetizing! However with a few employees that CARE about the establishment and a management team that knows how to run a Restuarant this place could be a pillar of that community. Id like to meet the owner to see if their interested in a partnership.
My FAVORITE soul food place in philly. Everything I order has always been spot on! Have been trying to order from them recently but it seems the phones are down and so is their uber eats. I really hope the pandemic hasn't ruined their business ☹

Omg it was so good! I was super surprised.... not to salty but so savory and good. Would def recommend to anyone. I got the jerk salmon platter and the salmon, shrimp, n grits....
