This place was awesome. We tried it for the first time, and will definitely go back. The food is contemporary and created in-house, so it's somewhat difficult to describe. I had carne asada tacos. The meat was melt in the mouth tender, and the flavor was perfection. Th house made salsa was a wonderful compliment. My son had baja shrimp served over jasmine rice. The shrimp were enormous, and the jalapeno butter added a nice bite. To finish our meal, we shared a bread pudding with jack daniel's whiskey caramel sauce. It was so huge, even with two of us sharing, that we couldn't finish it. Lastly, the staff was attentive and our server was very outgoing.
This is the best restaurant in Phoenix! This neighborhood gem has been tucked away on the corner of Bethany Home and 16th street for nearly 20 years. With such a friendly vibe and consistency with food, they are sure to satisfy any occasion. Highly recommend this place.
One of the best restaurants I've ever encountered in my travels. Never had a bad meal here. It's got a great low key neighborhood bar feel. Say hi to Frankie, one of the best bartenders around. They make great southwestern fusion dishes.

My wife and I have gone to the Phoenix City Grille since the day it opened 19 years ago. The food, service and ambiance is always top notch. We always recommend it to everybody we meet. You won't be disappointed.
We have been dining here since they opened, and even after we moved 25 miles away 15 years ago we keep coming back! The food is always delicious and we have never received anything but top notch service as well..
This was our last place to eat on our vacation and, as the saying goes, "save the best for last" and it was absolutely the best eatery in the Phoenix area!! Food as beyond perfect, service stellar, ambience couldn't be better. I would highly recommend this five star restaurant highly!

One of the most consistent and innovative food ideas in the Phoenix area. Nice approach to the Southwest and American recipes. Great staff, always available for their inputs when asked. XLNT Happy Hour, Brunch and drinks. Best Mimosa's, a must on Sat / Sun morning.

We love the Phoenix City Grille! We always take our out of town guests here to share the ambiance, great food, and perfect wine. The bar area impresses with an excellent wine selection and multiple spirit options. We can't say enough good about this place!
The best restaurant we’ve ever been to, the food and service was out standing!
Went here for my birthday. I love everything about this restaurant. The ambiance is so invoting and calmimg. Our waitress was so nice and sweet. She was experienced and accommodating. The food was a little bland to me. We had the flank steak, medium well, and it came out medium rare and the chicken meal. No biggie, though, we were able to enjoy the experience anyway. Nice area, plenty of parking.
I hung out with a friend. She recommended PCG and I’m glad she did. The service was awesome and the food/drinks. The view from the window seeing the mountains was great. I’ll definitely return when I visit Phoenix again.
Definitely enjoyed the food, especially the short rib and the shrimp appetizer unfortunately our server was pretty oblivious. She forgot one of the 3 apps we ordered and was difficult to get her to come back to order more drinks.

What a great place! The food was out of this world! The service was on point (shout out to Sasha)! The atmosphere was welcoming yet private at each table. Came here for my traditional Birthday celebration with my dad. So glad we did!
First time here. Was with a meetup group. The room was accommodating. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. I chose the eggplant bites, and they were perfect for small appetite. I will return here again.
My companion and I visited PCG on a belated birthday date night.
We shared the full-sized short ribs entree, which was a very wise decision. The meat was falling-off-the-bone tender, and the accompanying mashed potatoes, frizzled Brussels sprouts, and parsnip chips were seriously on point! The addition of side salads was more than enough for the two of us.
Word to the wise: Don't sleep on the house Old Fashioned and leave room for the buttermilk pie and brioche bread pudding, as they were all spectacular.
Amazing food! Had the spicy sweet short ribs and they were amazing!. The bacon wrapped shrimp was a hit too! Happy hour is superb!! Flank steak cooked to perfection! Long waits on Friday so try going at less busy hours. Staff was attentive and helpful. Will be back!
DELICIOUS!!! Had a late lunch Thursday, first time in the restaurant, and without a doubt ~ we're coming back! Despite it being an odd time for a meal it was spot-on delicious! And rivaling the yummy food was the outstanding service from waitstaff member Shawn! In all the years we've been dining out we can honestly say he is the "best server" we've ever had! Actually he should teach people how to do the job! Professional, enthusiastic, very knowledgeable, and immediately makes you feel at home! Oh ... and he's very "easy on the eyes!"

I met someone there today for the first time for lunch. He suggested the Chicken Tortilla Soup as a side. It was the BEST chicken tortilla soup I’ve ever had & I’ve been out West for 30 years! It was wonderful.
Came here for the first time today, and it was a pretty good experience. I ordered the asada tacos as well as the potato fingerling. Everything came out relatively quick and the waitress was SOOO kind and accommodating. What really made the experience great was how nice the waitress was and how engaging she was.
This place is great. This was my first visit. Attended a Christmas party, it was a blast. The food was great, service was great, the atmosphere was amazing. Will definitely have to go back. Highly recommended!!!🎄❤️
I had the steak burger with extra mushrooms, skinny fries, and ice tea. So big I had to take half home. Sean is a very friendly and attentive waiter. Ask for him and you will have great service! Definitely coming back to try other dishes.
Had dinner last night at Phoenix city grille and it was amazing. We didn’t have reservations but they were able to seat us very quickly. The food was amazing and we loved our server Tara. I got a glass of wine and my husband got their weekend cocktail. Our waitress suggested we get the bacon wrap shrimp and the ribeye shared plate which was the best recommendation ever. So delicious! For dinner, I got the vegetable plate and added a salmon skewer to it and my husband got the cedar plank salmon. The salmon was crusted with horseradish, which we don’t like, but our waitress said it wasn’t a problem and they could scrape it off before they cook it. Incredibly happy with our choices. Because it was our first time there, our server gave us a dessert on the house. So sweet! We loved how friendly everyone was, the delicious food and the fantastic service. We will be back!

Beautiful dinner with my wife we tried the tacos for the appetizer we had two beers. 🍺🍻 One brown ale & one joy bus talls she tried the beef short ribs with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts and I tried the pork ribs I and can say......
The ribs was some of the best I have ever had fall off the bone tender juicy and full of meat 🍖🥓 so yummy 😋🤤 we will be have them again for sure 😃👍😎
Fantastic experience! One of the staples of Phoenix and everybody should at least visit Phenix City Grille! Food and service is top notch, plus they also allow you to purchase bottles of whiskey/bourbon from their private selection. Food was unbelievably good and always on point! Best place for a date in a relaxed atmosphere with one of the best menus around.
