I love Mi Patio! People who have given them bad reviews are crazy! Who cares if you had to park further away....did you ever think to yourself, it's because it's so popular because everyone wants to eat there? Why deduct a star because of the parking? This place deserves 10 stars. Not only is the food amazing but the staff deserves a 10 as well. I always recommend this place to friends looking for a Mexican food spot. All I have to say is that this place is AMAZING! Try the Baja chicken burro!! You're welcome! �

My husband and I eat here quite often, we love the food and the staff, (Elio is great!!) We decided to have Mi Patio cater our wedding. Although it was not exactly perfect (there was a ton of food ordered), when we called after the wedding and spoke with the owner John, he was apologetic and then sent us a wedding gift! We were loyal before the wedding and we will continue to be! Thank you John!

While spending some time downtown with my Dad we decided to stop for some Mexican food. I remembered about five or so years ago I had stopped here and loved it. We arrived a little after opening and the parking lot was already filling up. I was pleased that we were greeted instantly upon entering and taken directly to a table. My dad is a bit hard of hearing and it was already pretty loud inside so we asked to sit at a corner table. It was a bit better but still quite loud so keep that in mind if you don’t like places like that. The menu isn’t very big, but it has some very good options. They had a few specials today for $10 which was great. Chips, salsa and water were brought over while we decided on what to eat. Last time I had been here I had carnitas, but today I opted for the chicken enchiladas with green sauce and added a shredded beef taco. My dad chose the special of two chicken tacos with rice and beans for the $10. The salsa had a bit of a kick, but not too bad. Chips were good but nothing over the top. Service was awesome the entire meal. Our food came out hot and quick. My taco were crispy on the outside and full of great flavored meat. My enchilada had so much ooey gooey cheese and a good amount of chicken. The rice and beans were good too, but the rice was probably the better of the two. My dad ate his entire plate and that says a lot about him . A great lunch for sure. Again, the worst part for me and my older dad was the noice level was so high.

Mi Patio is one of our favorites! I think her name is Tammy, who is amazing! It seems like she's always there. We go at lunch or at dinner and we're greeted with her happy smile and cheerful attitude. She doesn't wait on us very often anymore. She's usually taking care of things up front. Maybe she's the manager, I don't know, but she treats everyone like they're her best friend.
That being said, it may seem surprising that I rated the service here at a 3. Well. Tammy's 5-star service brings it up to a 3. Sometimes we get forgotten when we're there in person, and when I went to pick up our to-go order, omigosh, it was completely messed up and even when I caught part of it right away, watching them try to fix it was ridiculous. It would have been hilarious if it hadn't taken so long and cost so much extra money. I don't need to harp on that, but just make sure you get what you order online or over the phone, unless you don't care what you're paying for.
It would actually be really easy not to care. Except for the rice, which I don't like at all, Mi Patio really has the kind of food that you could just sit down and say 'surprise me' and get something delicious! Last but not least is the chips and salsa, as well as the sweet lady who brings them. Okay, the salsa here deserves a star of its own! So does the nice salsa lady. I'm raising my service rating to a 4, just for that wonderful pitcher of salsa and the plentiful refills.
Haven't been here in years. Still good food, large portions and awesome staff!
We ordered the chicken chimi and the combo: cheese enchilada, beef taco & beef tamale.
The fish tacos were amazing! And the rice is one of the best I've had. My boyfriend didn't care for the chimichanga as it got soggy fast from all the sauce, but otherwise a great place i'll visit again.
We had lunch at MI Patio Mexican Restaurant on 7th Ave & Osborn in Phx Az. we were served tortillas w/3 kinds of salsa.the tortillas was not to crunchy just right.We were hungry ,ate them all, we didn't have to ask for more,they just brought it. I ordered the lunch special cheese Enchiladas, taco ,rice and beans ,ice tea to drink.the waitress was nice,out going. I'm definitely returning 👍
So many good things to say where to start… from incredible daily drink 🍹 specials that actually taste delicious, variety of menu selections, the Service was great didn’t have to ask for refills of water or salsa. Food was excellent. Will definitely return
This was probably the BEST Mexican dish I've ever had -- Rajun Chicken Burro. Very good restaurant. It's a shame I live 40+ minutes away.
Best Mexican food in Phoenix... outstanding customer service. Highly recommended. The food was amazing, all the plates we tried, were really good. Definitely authentic Mexican. I would recommend the chimichangas, out of this world. Now I didn’t have drinks on this occasion, but the family sitting next to us, suggest we try them next time. Our servers were on top of everything, what ever we needed they were there. Basically had unlimited chips and salsa. Good food, good people, just come and try this....
Excellent find! Thought we would explore the area & try someplace different. Amazing food, great atmosphere, Christian our server was excellent, gave great menu advice, very nice & friendly. Best margarita & we loved the fry bread dessert.

I know I said other restaurants are awesome. Well here is another one for my rankings for restaurants. If you want that family feeling 💯 😌 of delicious yum 😋 yummiest. This place is it! Holy cow! I found another go too for Mexican food here. You have to try it if your in the area. I love the staff they were awesome, sweet and so funny 😄. The food was on point with flavor and taste of home cook meals. Do get me started on the drinks. Please try it and let me know what you think.
Mi Patio is a Phoenix classic and a neighborhood favorite. Great corner location and parking is easy. Charming on the inside with a nice bar and a decent amount of seating. We tried the red burrito beef taco combo and it was fantastic. We also tried the fish flautas which were very good. Easy to drink margaritas and good service
My mother and I went for dinner. I got the #100 combo and my mom got the large soup and we each got a large margarita. I’ve been all over Europe, the USA, and Mexico. Grew up in south TX and south AZ. I think this is genuinely the best food I have ever had, anywhere. Absolutely amazing. Phenomenal service. Perfect margaritas. The soup was a taste of home for my mom. The beef tacos were absolutely perfect. The tamale was stuffed with the perfect portion of masa to filling. I cannot say enough good things. If you haven’t been, GO. This place is wonderful.
Family owned business. Extremely friendly and accommodating. Great crispy tacos at a very cheap price. Also, an awesome Greek Salad. You have to ask for it. They mainly serve Mexican food. The salsa is out of this world. Bottomless chips. I would eat lunch there every day if I could.
