Having started with decent service by the cashier taking our order, it turned into excellent service by the lady who handed us our meal with a smile and making sure we were taken care off

This is my go to place. Usually order the 3-way burrito. Both the red and green Chili are delicious so I enjoy them both in this burrito. It's a small place , you can sit outside or do take out . The staff is always very friendly. This place has been around since I was a child, and it seems to only get better to me.
The original location in the historic Garfield District is my favorite stop for green burro enchilada style. Love coming to downtown Phoenix so I can make a pit stop for delicious Mexican food.
This restaurant has been making great Mexican food since I was a kid. I had my first Green Chili burrito back in the late 70's when I got out of Garfield elementary school across the street. My grandfather who worked for the City of Phoenix back then ate here at least three times a month because he loved the food. This place continues to serve the same great food I remember eating with him. There is a legitimate reason Rito's wins New Times Best of Phoenix each year.
So good we had to get second before catching our flight home. Good price, friendly and helpful staff.
Any native born Arizonans who knows their Mexican/Chile cuisine would recognize that this is an excellent restaurant. Could not recommend more delicious. Summer visitors beware that there is a lack of indoor seating (only outdoors) but the food was so good I didn’t care! I got the burrito and it is exactly what o crave when I visit home.
I’ve been coming here since 1985. I used to live a few streets north of here, and didn’t even know about it until a friend told me.
I haven’t been here for at least 10 years, but they still deliver on great food.
Their corn green enchiladas are the best I’ve ever had. I decided to put in a big online order, and sample a few different things.
Got an enchilada style green burro, 3 big green chile enchiladas, chips, green chili burrito and some shredded beef tacos with rice and beans. They don’t have a huge menu here. It’s not cheap, and at $4.50 for each tacos, I’d probably skip those next time.
Their green chili sauce is definitely the best.
Omgoodness!!! Sooo fricken GOOD!! and just like my dads brought back some great memories 😋🥰 and the ladies I said choose for me on the tostada and the guacamole tostada was Fabulous!! YOU HAVE TO CHECK IT OUT AND ALL THE CULTURE HERE 🤗🤗
First time being here, a little house across from a school. The food was very very tasty. All the workers were great and tipped the young lady working hard with a great attitude despite her challenges in life. I will be back and young lady, keep smiling as I will be back just because of your kindness.
Rito's is a family owned small restraunt tucked away in a neighborhood close to downtown Phoenix. This restraunt is very busy during the lunch hour. The food ordered here is usually to go. There are tables outside. The menu is simple, the food is delicious and has good size portions. 😋
It may not be the best place to be BUT the food is ridiculously delicious worth the $. I am a customer for life and have recommended this place many many times. Each person that I know has complimented their food.
Recommended by a friend who used to live in PHX. I would have never known this building was one of the best Mexican food joints in town. There isn't any signage at all. You just have to ":know" this is the place. I ordered the Green Chili burrito and the Cheese and Bean Burrito with Enchilada-style. Can I just tell you how amazing this food tasted? Incredible, and this is coming from a Texan. The refried beans are on another level here. I wish I could take these home with me and eat them whenever I wanted. Dont miss this place. It's awesome.
Good food. There is No ROOM to sit and enjoy our food. The tables are constantly dirty n not service to be clean. The trash outside really does smell 🤢🤮. It's always full of trash. They really need to clean the area. Sorry. Other customers have complained n not happy.

This is definitely not the kind of place I would find on my own reading Yelp reviews, so glad a colleague recommended it. It's a defi a gem of a hole in the wall kind of place with delicious and authentic Mexican food. We went before noon and the line was so long. I had the chicken and beef taco with guac and they were simply yum...the wait line is long so I would defi order my food through their website first and then go in to save time and they also take card now, they used to be cash only
