I stopped here before the Diamondbacks game tonight. I picked out the Green Butcher (award winning) taco and asked the bartender for a suggestion because every other taco sounded great. She suggested the shrimp taco and it was also very good. The Green Butcher was probably in my top 5 tacos ($6.50) hands down every bite was delicious and there was a ton of meat on there. I would score the shrimp taco a solid 3.5/5 the shrimp were the big prawn or tiger sized shrimp, but there were probably only 2 on the small taco. Taste was good but I preferred the green butcher over the shrimp. Atmosphere is a 5/5 at least on a game day like today. It was busy, and hot outside and the misting system really helped keep it pleasant.

This was such a great place to eat and get drinks right outside of the stadiums. The food is worth the prices to drinks are very well put together and overall a 10 out of 10. I even messed up the order by not asking them to not put cheese on my fries and they were so cool about it. I'm even going to leave them $10 just to help pay for the fries that were wasted because of my mistake. Very awesome place!

Self serve taco restaurant. Order your food at the counter, pay, and wait for your name to be called. We visited early in the day before the game, so the place was quite empty. But I can see this place being packed. The servers seem to know their regular customers. They talked and laughed a lot. The food was very good. We had Green Butcher (pork taco) and a glass of margarita on the rock. At the sauce bar, you can find both mild and spicy sauce.

Food was good. Nothing special in terms of street tacos, but good nonetheless. Quick service, even on a Friday night. Suns game was nearby too, so nice to get hot food relatively quickly. Expensive but that's expected for a downtown place like this. Overall, a good spot for tacos and drinks.

Crazy busy on game days. They need some waiters or waitresses. Wait for beer & food can be 30 minutes or more. Nice atmosphere, good food, chips seemed scratch made, very good. The carne asada tacos were good. Beer was $8, tacos per were $6.50. Staff was friendly. Just crazy attendance march 2023 for Mexico v USA WBC game.

This was a good stop! We were downtown for a concert and this was a great spot to eat before the show! Everything was very good! The tacos were exceptional! The guacamole was a bit disappointing. The prices are high for what it is and what you get. I would like to see the food priced just a hair more competitively, and add some more salt and lime to the guacamole. Wait times are also a concern if you are in a hurry. We were not, but if we were this would be a bad place to stop. All in all, it’s a good find! We will probably be back at some point for more tacos!

Stopped in for a quick lunch during convention events. This place will fill up quickly and space is limited during convention event lunch breaks. Food is cooked fresh and will also take about 20 minutes to be made if it’s busy. Ordered carne asada taco, shrimp taco and Elote. All of it was delicious and tasted great. The ambience of the restaurant is great as well. All of the staff was very friendly and attentive. Definitely will come back when I’m in the area and need something to eat!

We didn’t eat we just had beers while waiting for light rail, but Nocks (SP?) the super cool cool lady handling business made a short convenience stop a great experience. We’ll be going back for food just to see her again.

I'd go again and again and again if I could. I live in Denver, CO. Everyone loves different things, but this is my kind of place. It has margaritas on tap......I mean come on ❤❤❤❤

Food and service were excellent. I had a medical incident here earlier today and the staff was soo nice and accommodating. They got me a bag of ice, to-go water and made an unfortunate situation better. Thank you for your understanding and compassion.

This was a taco joint so i didn't think it would be anything special. To my surprise, the food here was spectacular. I got the burrito and it might have been the best burrito I've ever had. The size of the burrito was perfect, not too big, and u enjoyed every bite.

Stopped in before the Rod Stewart concert. It was packed but they handled the crowd well. The food was fantastic. Perfectly seasoned. It’s a long drive from Queen Creek but I will be back.

If in downtown Phoenix YOU MUST stop by Willie’s!! The nachos are bomb, the chicken street tacos are bomb, and the quesadilla is bomb. The music is on point. And the staff is dope. The personality and interaction they have with customers is AWESOME. Thank you Nox, and Cameron for the great experience.

I will admit it I wasn't thrilled entering Willie's for the 1st time. Previous restaurants in this location never looked or felt appealing to enter. In my head I thought, this business is adhering to the rule of location and only need to provide adequate swill to feed the herds of sports fans traditionally void of any reasonable pallet. So on the recommendation of my friend who purchased the Suns tickets for that evening because I would never directly give Robert Sarver any of my money, we entered Willie's for tacos. I was surprised at the efficiency of the line which moved swiftly like the southwest breeze. My Dos Equis was in my hand before I could say, "Yo Soy Fiesta". Two drinks, tacos and a burrito ran about $30 which was a bit pricey for my liking but it was tasty. If I'm in downtown and heading to the game, I could see myself spending an extra buck or two to enjoy Willie's again.
