The chef is an absolute artist!!! I enjoyed a delicious seared salmon sushi plate.
The prices are astonishing for the quality that you get. It’s so nice to see food as an art form again where you can tell the people care about what they’re selling because of passion and not profit.
Also, the vibes of this place are so welcoming and warm and relaxing, just need a bit of polishing of the rough edges.
I’ll definitely be coming back but next time I have to bring my kids who also loved the food(they couldn’t help but ask for some when they saw how awesome it looked).

Hana Sushi is amazing. Honestly some of the best such I we have had in the valley since moving here 6 years ago. They are an owner operated business and they care so much about their customers. They deserve all the support. I think my wife and I have eaten here at least 5-6 times in the last 2-3 weeks.
We can’t get enough.
This will definitely be our go to sushi spot and we’re so thankful to have found it.

Hana has always been an outstanding sushi & sashimi place in Phoenix. We’ve been going for, well pretty much as long as it’s been around, and it’s always managed to maintain top flight quality. The service has always been consistently excellent. The atmosphere is classic ‘busy local eatery’ catering to food & service and not to atmospherics and frippery. Highly recommended.
Listen, this place is as "Ma and Pa" as it comes. It's a little hole in the wall but everyone knows that sometimes those are the best. This is one of those times. It's not just about the portions (which are above average) or the quality of the food (which is excellent) but it's about the new owners. Ever since they took over, the chef has revamped the menu and is passionate about making good sushi. Trust me, you can't go wrong here.
My wife and I had the most incredible experience here tonight! We travel a lot, and have dined in countless sushi restaurants, but the time we had here was unparalleled. We sat at the bar and chatted with the chef during our meal, which too be honest, was the best part of our meal. We shared life experiences from our cultures and he treated us to a couple incredible off menu “Chef’s creations.” The next time we’re back in Phoenix, we will most certainly be returning.
This place deserves nothing less than a 5 star review! Such a cozy, welcoming environment with sushi to die for. So fresh and flavorful…worth every penny! My favorite sushi in town.
They were beautiful. Salmons were really thick and fresh. I think this place has the best roll and sushi .
Stopped by randomly with a friend (because she liked the sign lol) and we were pleasantly surprised. I got super simple rolls, one salmon and one avocado, but i was pleasantly surprised about how much salmon/avocado was in the roll! My friend (who is vegetarian) got the veggie rolls with soy paper instead of seaweed, and she seemed pleased with hers as well!
Not sure about the rest of the menu, but the simple rolls were good value and tasted great. If you’re in the area and craving a bit of sushi, I’d say it’s worth it to try!
My girlfriend and I absolutely love this place. We come here one or two times a week minimum. The food is phenomenal and puts all other sushi places we have eaten at to shame. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating; They are always happy to see us and make each trip there feel special.
We would eat here every single day if we could afford it.
My recommendations are the Seared white roll, the Maverick roll, the Tiger roll and the Cage special.
Don’t forget to ask for the fresh wasabi!
I have to say probably my favorite Sushi restaurant in Phoenix. For the following reasons the sushi size is big and the price is really good also taste is amazing
Compared to other places the sushi is okay and more expensive and portions are smaller. This place is pretty underrated
Overall very quick and professional fun atmosphere.

Love this place! We live nearby and it has become one of our go to spots. We have tried several menu items and have enjoyed them all. The sushi is always on point and fresh. We haven't been disappointed yet. Definitely a hidden gem. :)
If you're looking for a mama and papa sushi bar this is the one you want to go to. They make it like it they would make it in the country. This sushi very good and I recommend anybody that like sushi to go to this location is Union Hills and 7th Avenue. The staff is very warm friendly. The stuff is very helpful pick the best sushi that you like to eat
Have been looking for a sushi place like this for a long time. This restaurant is fresh, clean, affordable, and delicious. This is definitely my new go to.

I've been here twice now and their rolls are absolutely incredible. Great service, they even gave us an extra mochi when we ordered dessert. Wonderful spot!
1st time visiting this quaint little hole in the wall. I have to say is the best sushi that I've had in Arizona.! We had the monster roll softball crab roll, spicy Scallops. Ever thing we eat just melted in our mouth. This is a must go to place for all the sushi lovers!
