This was the hole-in-the-wall you are looking for! We almost didn’t find the place -it’s SMALL and in a corner. The GPS was correct, just keep your eyes open! The food was absolutely wonderful… the service was welcoming and delightful. So glad we found this restaurant!! We live in NM. We fly to NY tomorrow… and we WILL be back. 💚
LOVE THIS PLACE!! Everything on the menu is made with love and tastes like your Italian mom’s home cooking! Pizza to die for (beautiful brick wood fired oven), wings that have so much flavor, and dishes that taste like a 5 star restaurant. Cozy inside, patio outside. TVs, full bar of alcohol, what else do you need? Get over there already!!
It's always my favorite local pizza in Phoenix! Super friendly staff. Great salads, pizza, and beers. Unexpected treat for December was outside dining areas with radiant heaters

The food was quite delicious. I was somewhat uneasy about our waitress but she was very helpful in the end. The star of the show was the veal canollies with the pink sauce. So rich and tasty!
19 Apr-23. Visiting the area for work. Looked for a place for me and my colleagues to have din din. I gave 3 restaurants to choose from. We chose Pizza A Metro. Arrived around 1930, not busy. We were directed to their patio, lovely space to eat. Beautiful plants, nice lighting. Couple across from us had their little doggie with them so cute and well mannered. Dinner was delicious. Manager was training a new server, they did great. Service was awesome we felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Everything was wonderful. Felt like a second home and the food is amazingly delicious. We will be back.

The food was excellent, you get what you pay for. The quality is amazing. Did the medium meat lovers pizza priced at about $35. Worth every penny. Let’s also talk about the service amazing, margarita greeted and helped me, she was excellent and so genius. Will definitely be back to place more orders.
Best Italian kitchen. Number 1 italian kitchen for me in Arizona. Had a very wonderful front patio and back patio, which was very peaceful. I had the Calzone, which was huge and delicious. The tomato sauce was delicious and flavorful, and so was the homemade mozzarella. Had the chicken panini and boy were the flavors amazing definitely can tell everything was hand made from the dough to the sauce. 10 0f 10 would recommend this place.
So we were driving from up North to get home, the kids were hungry and wanted to eat pizza and because we didn't want all eat pizza, we searched for a restaurant that offers pizza and other things.
I ordered Cioppino just to just see if they got the real taste of the recipe. Actually I was quite impressed with the taste of the Pizza, the ravioli and the Cioppino. It was a great experience and will stop their next time we drive by.
We ordered a Margherita pizza and a Meatball pizza; they were excellent. The pink vodka sauce in the veal cannelloni was amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good pizza and Italian food. The owner was serving and she was so nice and very personable.
So I saw the reviews and decided to try it out. I went with my lady and brother. First off the customer service was outstanding. Second the pizza was delicious as well as their cannoli. We all had a great experience overall, will definitely recommend this place.
One of my favorite pizza spots in central Phoenix. The only complaint is the homeless people in the area which really makes it uncomfortable unfortunately. I'm still giving 5 stars with how good the food and service is.
My Uncle suggested we meet him for Lunch at Pizza A Metro. It's about an hour away from where we live! It was a well worth the drive. It's one of those places you hear about but never know where to find it... Well here it is! The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. Everything was amazing. Can't say enough good things about the place. Tyler our server was great! We will be making the trip on a regular basis!
Margarita: My Oregon family has been to your restaurant a number a times. I’m the Italian from Boston. We were told you were there only Wednesdays and Thursdays. Too bad! I wanted to meet you.
Food: The appetizer of toasted bread and relish was delightful. Different! But we like different. We ordered the veal as a starter. Fantastic! 6 of us shared. Truly wonderful. We then ordered the 36” pizza….half chez; half pepperoni. Another home run. For dessert: What Italian meal would not be complete without a cannoli. Piped when we ordered it as it should be. Very tasty! We also ordered a bottle of Chianti. Very very good! Some Chiantis can be overly dry. This one was not!
Service was a bit sub par but okay. Not great but not bad. She tried!

Took a chance on these guys after seeing an Arizona Republic article recognizing their pizzas. Don't judge a restaurant by its location - This place has incredible Italian food! The special lobster ravioli was perfect.
This place seriously a best kept secret! Small but packs a punch! Awesome menu, and the food is AMAZING. I don't think you can go wrong. The tiramisu is home-made & hands down the best I've had in a long time. The staff is super friendly as well.

Neighborhood is a little rough, but pizza was awesome. We ordered a large capricciosa to go. Staff was friendly & restaurant was clean. They have a very cool stone oven.
If we are ever in that part of the city, we would definitely eat there again.
Oh. Em. GEE! This is the best little Italian place! Little yes but family owned, genuine, friendly staff. The owner Margherita was just as impressive as the food! She made recommendations on changes or additions we could make to our order she felt would enhance the dishes. Go! Go now! You can thank me later.
Quiet place hidden in plain sight. Food was great. Service was good, lady was polite and friendly. They have a back patio for extra space. Definitely recommend you try it, if you haven't already.
