Traveling through Phoenix trying to find a good spot for reasonable prices and good food can be overwhelming, pizza especially!! This is my second time eating at Barro's and both times were pleasant. They seem to be consistently good. Reasonable prices, great pizza and friendly staff.
Everything is always good here they did recently change the crust recipe or vendor for ingredients, which has been a step back. On busy nights, it's sometimes a hit or miss on food quality due to lack of staffing, but the manager on duty helped right away to make one of our items again. Great service and food for a group!
First time visiting Barro's. Ordered over the phone and picked it up. The young lady that took my order, the one that waited on me and the manager were very pleasant and nice. They had a bunch of takeout orders so they were pretty busy. The pizza was steaming hot when I picked it up. Both the pizzas and garlic cheese bread sticks were on the greasy side but overall good. I would like to try dining in next time, the atmosphere seemed very good.

Barroso is usually pretty good. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is usually good, and the tables and restroom are generally clean. Parking also very good, and cost is reasonable.
I usually go for a slice and a salad and a drink, less than $10. They do that until 4 PM. I have noticed that a whole pizza seems to have more cheese on it and tastes better than a slice, but that may be just a function of shelf life.
The salad bar has lots of great selections and has the real advantage that the staff actually assemble the salad according to your choices. Somehow, that seems a lot more sanitary than getting a salad from a bar which has been picked over and slobbered over by everyone who gets a salad. Ingredients have always been fresh and plentiful, and the staff always put together a great salad. And, they'll give you a to-go box for what you don't have room to eat!
I go here frequently because it's good food, convenient and a pleasant, usually fairly quiet, place to eat. Keep up the good work. I will be back.
Love Barro’s. Repeat customer since the original Anthem location and then Dove Valley location. Moved to New River last week so the tried the newer location in Anthem. What the heck happened to this pizza? Not only does it lack the usual toppings, but it also appears to have slid in the oven. Disappointed. I’ll give them another chance, but please be like the other locations and be true to the Barro’s quality. I really don’t want to have to drive to Dove Valley all the time.
This is a family friendly pizza joint very involved in the Anthem community. It is our go-to place for pizza that we pretty well do once a week. The pizza is consistently good and the lunch specials are still affordable. They have sponsored hundreds of fundraisers to benefit the community. A great example of a franchised business making a solid impact in the local community.
The pizza was great! Only have 1 person working the salad bar and the kiosk, so it took a while to order, and the food took a while to come out

I love their pizza 🍕 it’s the best. However the crust could have been cooked at little more, it was doughy, but still good. I only order from Barro’s pizza.

Hands down best cheap pizza place in anthem. Loved the food, the service was great and fast, and it was an overall 10/10 experience
Their Pizza is very good. The staff is very friendly I stopped going to fast food because it's gone to hell in a handbasket but Barro's is still good.
