This is a very nice restaurant with great food. The portion sizes are very large and flavors are on point. I haven't been here in over 20 years but it's nice to see not much has changed since then. The staff is very welcoming, courteous and knowledgeable. Our food was served in a very timely way and I couldn't have been happier with the overall service. Excellent job well done Garcia's!
Everything was on point, the place was clean, the staff friendly and quick. I thoroughly enjoyed the fajitas we had, and the chips and salsa were fresh. There's something about freshly fried Tortilla chips and their house salsa that's just chef's kiss. The staff came out and sang happy birthday for my brother in law, they were all so wonderful. The food is well portioned and priced. We'll be back soon.
When you be there can't be disappointed, atmosphere is very Mexican.
The food is amazing and service very nice.
Dish very well presentation, and the taste is amazing.
When I'm in Phoenix, I will never skip the opportunity to have my meals there.
Thank you.
I can only comment on the food and the way it was packaged. We got it catered and it was still warm but it was really good. I was surprised.
I have been coming here since the 1990s and it has remained the same with their indoor decorations. I know that this is a family owned restaurant because the family pictures are displayed throughout the restaurant.
Friendly service and friendly faces. They have a bar area and they play up to-date music which makes you want to go dancing. They used to have a live mariachi band that would walk table to table if you had a request they played for you. Due to covid19 I am not sure if they still do this.
They have plenty of options on the menu and the prices have gone up so expect to pay a little more. They have the best Chips and salsa 😋 and the fajitas is very flavorful and filling. I wish they made tortillas in house but they don't. Not a fan. I prefer the corn tortillas when I am given an option.
We also have a favorite server and we always ask for him when dining in. He makes us feel welcome and he will mention that it's been awhile since he has seen us. It's nice to be missed. Ask for Julio Monday thru Saturday.
It was nice to dine in again after a long wait for the restaurant to reopen for business. Happy dining.
I went to the restaurant with some co-workers and friends. The layout of the restaurant was confusing as there are two buildings on one lot. One building is for dining in while the other one seems to be the drive-thru. However, once we figured out which was which things became easier. I ordered a small order of nachos with ground beef and a lemonade. My meal was delicious. The free salsa and tortilla chips were also delicious. The service was nice but there were at least (5) different people that attended to us while there so that was a bit confusing. Either way all the staff we encountered were polite and helpful. I may visit again one day whenever I am in the area.
Excellent food and as usual service was happy and helpful. We arrived late, just 15 mins before close but were treated well and served good wholesome food. The server recommended the shrimp burrito I ordered be done enchilada style and boy was she spot on. The enchilada sauce was rich and spicy but just right. The beans here are one of the few I enjoy. Everything was great.
Amazing authentic food! Traveling for work and was recommended to try here. We ordered 15 meals for the team and the staff took great care of us. Ashley at the counter is amazing and delivered nothing less than exceptional customer service. Will stop again!
It's worth the drive. My family is picky with their Mexican food and they all loved it. I tried this on a recommendation and was not disappointed. My dad and I have had difficulty finding places we really like, this is one we loved. The salsa is on point and if you have left overs, the food is still good the next day
Prices were good for quantity served and lunch deals were plentiful. Service was good even at its busy time and friendly. One of the better sit down Mexican chain restaurants in the valley. Their bean dip is to die for.
Update: No bean dip or spicy salsa this time. Only got the spicy salsa when the food arrived and someone asked for hot sauce. Fajita quesadilla was fantastic, the strips of steak had exceptional flavor and weren't overly greasy.
The food is good but not amazing. I enjoyed the service and the atmosphere though! I'll probably come back at some point to check out their dining area. I was hanging at the bar.
We drove across town to meet our group here. As many times as we've eaten here, not one of Garcia's plate specials has disappointed us. Not too chili, not too salty, not greasy, serving sizes more than enough. So, well worth the drive and we'll keep coming back!
Great food and service. Only gave 4 stars for service due to the waitress not writing down our orders and messed up my order out of 4 of us (honest mistake). All in all, great restaurant.
Great atmosphere and good food. A little under staffed for the busy lunch so food was slow to order and get out. If you only get 30 minutes for lunch.. order take out.
This place is great. Don't be afraid to stop if the parking is full. Have been there with full parking lot expecting to wait 30 to 40 minutes and surprisingly was seated immediately.
The food is great! Staff is always top-notch!
