The food was great and our server was exceptional! I'm a pescaterian and their menu is very vegetarian/pescaterian friendly! I had the Southern Burger with a Gardenburger substituted. It was awesome and the kettle fried parmesan potato chips were the best. I can't wait to go back and try the salmon.
Just ate at Black Bear Diner. Our server Susie was so nice! Francisco one of the cooks was amazing. We ask for something specific and it was delicious! The staff there is the best. Thank you Black Bear! So happy you are in Laveen.

The options were hard to choose from bc it all sounded so good! There are classic breakfast options as well as original creations.
The biscuits are giant and so fluffy!
Portion sizes are great, service was quick and friendly, the restaurant seemed clean as well.
Plus they have a cute little gift shop and bakery with take home goods

Had a nice lunch at the Black Bear Diner in Laveen, AZ, and it was a real nice experience. The decor reminds me of a restaurant cabin in the woods mixed with a traditional diner. The food was good and hot with a nice variety of "diner style" selections. I had the rueben sandwich with a cup of broccoli cheddar soup, and my wife had the BLT with avocado and a side of sweet potato fries. All the food was fresh and hot, and our waitress was very cordial and helpful. I'd definitely go back again and offer it as a suggestion for folks visiting the Phoenix area.
Today I went with my family to have dinner. We really enjoyed our time there especially with the help of Fabian. He’s very helpful also great customer service. I’ll be coming back soon. Super recommended to come here ♥️
Our server was awesome! Very friendly, cordial, helpful & accommodating. This is my stepdads fave place to eat, so we frequent the establishment quite often. The staff is always delightful & the food it pretty good.

Even though this is a chain restaurant in multiple States, I very much enjoy it because it is a full-on diner atmosphere. It's not exactly cheap but the amount of food that they give you definitely reflects the price that they charge. If you're not hungry I wouldn't recommend going here because you will be fed until your stuffed. I've been here for breakfast more than anything else but I have tried a few of their lunch menu items and I've not been dissatisfied with anything. Except for the apple cobbler. I was not impressed by their apple cobbler at all. Even though I'm not a huge sugar fan this was definitely lacking in sugar and the puff pastry on top just was not adequate. But other than that I have liked all of their food and I would definitely recommend people go here if you enjoy a good diner.
I had an early dinner with a friend. The server was very friendly and had great customer service skills. I am sorry for not remembering what I had ordered. Buy I can say very good size portion served and I loved the food. The atmosphere was friendly and cozy, and it was a great place to take family and friends to go eat. But most of all, I feel in love with all the wooden bears. Plus the stuff bears and some clothing they sold. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. You will love the place.
Delicious savory goodness breakfast 😊💯😁 my whole family enjoyed their plates. Total cost for us was $70. Would definitely recommend and come again! My steak was well done and delicious 🤤 with their papa burn signature sauce

My chicken fried steak was great. They were stingy with the mashed potatoes and gravy.
Service: between the two waiters they were more interested in sitting and talking young girls. And putting music on the jukebox that was not appropriate for comfortable restaurant eating.
Service good with friendly people/ staff. Typical diner food. I ordered a blt/ turkey club which was very dry. My wife ordered a hamburger salad which was saturated and dressing.
This was my first time dining here. I just relocated to the area from Wisconsin and saw this eye-catching place driving by and had to stop. It was beautiful inside. The atmosphere is so chill and relaxing. The music 🎶 is soothing as well. The waitres, Erica was kind, knowledgeable, and answered my questions promptly without having to seek it out. And our meal was the meat loaf, mash potatoes with broccoli and brown gravy. I had to leave a nice tip. I will be back to try the pot roast. 😋

This is not the typical breakfast place I would go but they always seem to have a decent crowd so I figured my gf, son, and I would check it out. First off service was great. The host was friendly and cheerful. We were greeted and started quickly. The place wasn't packed but it was probably 3/4 full. Our server heated is quickly as well and again she was super friendly and attentive. I was very impressed with the speed and attention of the service. We had coffee and water and neither was ever empty. I ordered the chicken sausage scramble, my gf got the pancakes and eggs, and my son had French toast and diced potatoes.
The food was very poorly seasoned. The French toast was bland with little to no flavor other than egg and bread, the potatoes were not seasoned, my egg scramble had no salt or pepper, and my gfs eggs were the same. It didn't taste bad and honestly the quality seemed ok, just very very bland. I feel like for the price, which for us 3 was $52 plus tip, I'd rather spend a little more and go to First Watch or Hash Kitchen.
