I’ve been eating here for over 20 years. I love their sandwiches and their chocolate malts. Today I stopped in after lunch and grabbed a malt for the road. Perfection as always.
Nice little sandwich shop. I got the Italian which was fresh and a tad spicy. The Oreo malt was pretty good as well. A little pricey but good quality food.
I absolutely loved my Italian sandwich with all the fixings, including hot peppers. The bread was so soft and there was just the right amount of meat and everything else. There was plenty of seating and the staff were very nice. I'd be in trouble if this sandwich shop was closer to my home, lol. I was so excited to eat, that's why my photo only shows half the sandwich.
First time here, I think. Walking in, you smell the goodness. It's quite simple to order. Walk around to the side, order the food, watch it go into the oven. Walk back to the front of the counter for fixin' and pay. You're done. Feel free to leave. There are some seats inside and more outside but who wants to sit outside in 100+ heat? Anyway, this is a great place to grab a quick bite.
Although I have eaten here, I'm not necessarily a regular. I shamelessly exploit them for a cup of ice, on most of my visits. The food is good and the staff are friendly, so my four star rating is definitely well earned.
Located in a historic building in downtown Phoenix, this is such a sweet spot to grab a coffee and breakfast. Customer service is excellent, food and drinks are fab. Highly recommend!
If you're going to Phoenix downtown and you are near Phoenix Municipal Courts, County Court and Phoenix City Hall you sure check Mom and Pop restaurant. This place is near all these locations. The food is excellent. They have coffee different sandwiches and unbelievable salads. You can do take order out Or of you have time I would dine in. They have plenty of outside seats you can sit and watch people. Plus this is one of the historical buildings in downtown Phoenix. If you enter historical buildings.
Great sandwiches fast service and a genuine smile as they greet you as you come up to order. I need to start taking pictures of my journeys around town so that I can share them and maybe capture alittle if what I try to describe.
Great place to grab lunch in downtown they have sandwiches, salads, dessert. Staff are very friendly and they get you in and out quick.
I got the traffic jam sandwich with the works and i have to say this sandwich changed .y while perspective on what a sandwich should be. The flavor that it had was the greatest thing I have tasted. If you have not been here you need to go immediately.
I've eaten here while downtown on a handful of occasions. Recently, I had the opportunity to try one of their new subs. I ordered the chicken pizza marinara sub and it came with a free large drink.
The ratio was perfect. Not too messy and not too boring and dry. It paired perfectly with the jalapeno chips available. The atmosphere is always bustling and the service is fast but courteous! Will definitely keep going when I'm in the mood for a sandwich downtown.
Love this place. The staff is super friendly, the sandwiches are so good and toasty. The Italian sodas are VERY good.
What a treat to experience during my break from jury duty. I had the Italian on whole wheat, and everything about it is delicious. I asked for the hot pepper on the side not knowing what I was I for, but now I wish I had put it on the sandwich with extra on the side. It was about $10 for the sandwich and a bag of chips, no drink. Well worth it. If I get called to serve on a trial and have to come back to court tomorrow, I'll definitely be back for more.
There are coffee places everywhere but only a few get it right. I cant wait to get my coffee here every morning. Cappuccino here is my reason for getting out of bed. Thank you to the owner for always greeting me with a smile and a positive attitude. Great coffee!
Loved my Sandwich, the staff was nice, I’d dint love that they were already putting all the chairs up on the tables and spraying cleaning spray all over thirty minutes before they were scheduled to close - otherwise a good experience.

This place has great sandwiches. The sub rolls they use are fresh and soft and the sandwiches come out perfectly toasted. Sometimes the line gets long if you go at a peak time, but the sandwiches are worth the wait.
Very good sandwich for sure! It’s been years since I’ve been there but will definitely put it on my list for the next time I’m downtown.
