Unbelievable food! The fish and chips was by far the best tasting in this state. The rest of my party tried the gyro and burger and they thought it was amazing as well. Every thing about this place was awesome, the food, the atmosphere. I had a really great time and enjoyed the company of the owner. He took special care of my entire party, and you don't get that kind of special treatment anywhere else! If I could rate this 6 stars out of 5 I would!

Price is reasonable and it comes with a big serving!! I tried the cod fish/shrimp and chips combo and it was delicious! I like that they gave us sides of tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, and hot sauce. Also ordered a 6 piece hot wing, it was tasty too! (I'm picky about wings)
All around a great place to eat and can't believe it's been hiding right under my nose this whole time!

Just ate here for the first time today and not only was the food great but they have kool aid on tap! Seriously though laid back atmosphere with great service. If you haven't been I highly suggest you do.

I must say I had a delicious Mother's Day meal. This was my 1st time going to this eatery. I found them on Google and noticed they had a 5 star rating. My son was treating, I just had to find the right restaurant. He questioned my choice and made me a bit nervous, but I went ahead and i wasn't disappointed in the fish. A little pricey but there's plenty enough for two. Fries are not made for travel, so they really didn't hold up. The sweet potato pie was tasty. Overall, I'd visit Maryln's fish and chips again

This place is wonderful. The mother daughter combination is great. They are very friendly. The food came out fast and hot. Everything was crispy and tasted perfect. As I told them I will be back every pay check to get the same meal. Catfish, shrimp and fries.
The fried oreos should be illegal. Even after I finished all my food they was still hot. Best thing I've ever had. You can tell they are Hispanic because there was a little spice in the catfish batter. No greasy taste.
Place was clean and they gave condiments without hesitation. They even brought extras I didn't use. The place is clean and I will be back. They are military friendly.
I ordered a second order to go and they waited until I was finished to cook it so it was done as soon as I got ready to get up. Timing was amazing. Food was still hot. Most place give it all at once. I have not one bad thing to say about them.
Best of all the prices are not crazy. You get way more food than any other place I've been for cheaper. I'm glad I went.
Did not disappoint! Husband and I had the 3pc catfish shrimp combo and the 3pc cod shrimp combo. Catfish had a crunch and good seasoning. The cod was flakey and tender. The shrimp was large and delicious! And the deep fried oreos...sooo good, like a scrumptious donut! Ranch dip could be a little thicker, they even throw in a roll to make a small sandwich. Enough food for two meals, highly recommend!
The menu is extensive and so good all the fried food. The bread is yummy and the fish filets are big. the staff was nice and attentive. Her name is Malena and has a nice smile. Good family and party packs for any event. If you like fish and chips I highly recommend it this place.

Great.. Cod was my choice of three fish on the menu today. Very succulent & it looked very fresh under the wonderful batter - & the chips can make or break the overall satisfaction, & they were also 'great'π
$11 +change included a $2 soda, AND, to my surprise after thinking it was just outside seating if any, you can dine in a nice clean air conditioned cafe setting, with a view of the busy Central Avenue.

I drove 32 minutes away from home. Looking for a Fish House like home(Texas) The service was great and the establishment was very clean. There's road construction so I suggest rolling slow as to not miss the the turn off.
Saul the gentleman that took my order at the drive thru was what ALOT of food chains totally need!!!!. Even with less than 10 mins to closing my order was taken with the most professional and positive service that I've not gotten nor seen in a VERY LONG TIME!!!. With this being my very first time coming here i had questions of course. With out any hesitation Saul gave me the run down of the menu that made my ordering very easy. I ordered parmesan wings and potatoe salad and the wings feel off the bone and served hot. I can't wait to come back and try there fish tomorrow. I highly recommend trying this place out if you haven't already. Small family run business are always the best. Thanks Maryln"s fish and chips for the great experience.
If you are looking for a new type of sea food, it is better to try here and look at their menu. I ordered 4 piece tilapia fried fish and french fries. As you can see in picture it is enough for two people. They prepare it fresh and hot with very nice two sauces. ππ
So the food is on point! For you Tourists that are wondering what to eat in Phoenix Arizona visiting YOU Must TRY Marilyn's. It's a small and Wonderful hole in the wall place with cool-aid on tap. The fish pieces are huge and you really get your monies worth! This place is family ran Alma, the cashier and window personnel is so friendly and pleasant. My only negative review is that the dessert is overpriced and way too small of portion size and I was disappointed. But everything else was worth the 35 min. drive for me!! ππβ€οΈ

I found this place when randomly searching for something for lunch. Wow! What a find! I had a fish and shrimp plate. It was pretty much perfect. Great fries, excellent shrimp, a piece of cod and a piece of catfish. All of it perfectly fried. To top it off, the cocktail sauce and the tarter sauce were great. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. I highly recommend you give this place a try ASAP!

I first arrived in Phoenix yesterday and just Google catfish near me and this place was suggested. I got 3 piece catfish and let me tell you! I was highly satisfied and this coming from someone from the South. The catfish was seasoned to perfection and my order was piping hot. The customer service was great as well. Day 2 my son flew in and we stop by and I had the fish again and he had the shrimp. There was an older lady there by herself and she was waiting on a cashier. She still fixed our order and we paid before leaving. My sons was highly satisfied with his shrimp as well. Please give this place a try off you have not.

Excellent fish! I had cod and shrimp, my husband and son had catfish. (I tried some) Good portion size for the price. Fried okra was really good too. Will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. Highly recommended!
Love the food! The service was exceptional tonight. My husband and I ordered some food after a funeral and showed up to find that the restaurant was closing earlier than expected. When we shared that we had placed our order on EatStreet Orders, the cook, Sue agreed to reopen and cook our meal for us. They were so kind and we so appreciated their willingness to take care of us even after they had closed. I would highly recommend Marilyn's Fish & Chips not only for the great food, but for the stellar service.
Always worth the drive downtown from the West Valley! Best fish in town hands down, the only place they get the batter just right. It's easy to mess that up, no other fried fish places in town I've tried have gotten it down. It's either really bland, weird tasting or soggy. The fish itself is moist and flaky, each bite makes me want to take another. My husband found this place by chance, he was driving by and saw the Kool-aid man mural on the side of the building. He looped back around to see what it was, and boy so glad he did!
