This was our first time and won't be our last. Starting with the tea and the falafel appetizer was fun. The goat was the best I've ever had. The lamb, chicken and beef were also very good. The dessert and Turkish coffee finished the meal nicely. Thank you again for an amazing experience.

I have been tryingto find a mid eastern restaurant that cooked like the restaraunts and friends back home (Detroit, Michigan) and THIS IS THE PLACE! It's not better than when my family makes it but it's really close to our restaurants. I am doing the happy joy dance! Amazing!

Zhor is AMAIZING! She helped us find the perfect abayas for our trip and somehow always picked the perfect style to try on! It made it so hard to choose. Were definitely coming back to try the food since it smelled so good.

Enjoyed this place so much! Doesn’t look like much from the outside or even when you come in, but a very nice atmosphere, service and sense hospitality, and no less important, amazing food! Very decent Falafels, and Cuscus to die for. I took the chicken Cuscus and the chicken was literally melting in my mouth. Perfect texture. So were the vegetables, and the whole thing was deliciously flavored/spiced. I ate too much so I skipped dessert, but I have every intention of going back there and trying their Knafe. Can’t wait to visit again!

Best Moroccan Food in America by far!♥️ Ideal for a romantic dinner or catching up over a pot of sweet Moroccan mint tea. Moroccan architecture seating of course! Chicken bastilla is to die for. And if you’re torn between tagine or couscous 🤤 the good thing is you won’t be disappointed by either, and let's not mention organic homemade Moroccan bread.

What a hidden gem! One of the best Moroccan restaurants I’ve ever visited in the US. The food was Devine! The harira soup was delicious and tasted home made, excellent Bastilla, Delicious mixed grill plate, Authentic Moroccan sweet mint tea. The chef/ owner stopped by to check on our table and she was a pleasure.

AMAZING. Best lamb My husband and I have ever had here in the states. We love Mediterranean food and eat it often and this definitely didn’t disappoint. My husband enjoyed the lamb gyro and I loved the chicken shawarma. Huge portions, super flavorful and filling. The only thing I was disappointed about was the babaganoosh, it tasted like straight smoke. Overall very pleased and will be back!

The Bastilla was delicious! Took a little while to come out, but worth the wait. Loved the Moroccan tea. Very friendly service.

The food was great and the service was quick. We ordered the Moroccan eggplant and lamb tagine which came with rice - we loved both. The portions were enough for two people. Finally we ordered Kunafa but they had run out, however they were kind enough to make a fresh batch just for us, it was the best kunafa we had so far.

After traveling to Morocco, I was really wanting to have the delicious Moroccan food that I remembered. I was finally in the neighborhood where I was able feel like I was transferred back to my days in Morocco. While the tea wasn’t as minty and vibrant as I remember in Morocco, the chicken tangine I had was definitely representative of authentic Moroccan tangine. I do wish the vegetables were a bit more vibrant, but in good Moroccan fashion, the portion sizes were very big with a lot of bread (granted, it’s regular pita bread rather than true Moroccan bread). As others have said, there’s only one lady running the store, but she was very hospitable and relatively quick with my meal despite that

In a part of town with many hidden gems, Alzohour is the crown jewel. Foodies, skip the Persian Room and drive across town to try the bastilla and lamb or fish tagine. If you like homemade ayran, this is the place to get it. You won't find better Moroccan food in Morocco, or a better mezze platter in Phoenix.

Relaxed emporium where you can fill your belly with really delicious, traditional Moroccan food. The harera(soup) was bursting with flavor, as was the generously-sized, beautifully decorated chicken bastella. Post feasting you can stock up on a few grocery items; home ware - such as tea pots, tea glasses, tagines; and take home a new outfit! - kaftan, takshita, djabador, gandora, djellaba, abaya, or new hijab. A tranquil and interesting place to spend the evening.
