Nicely decorated restaurant. The tree in the middle really sells the mood. Fairly large seating area, and a nice outside seating for colder parts of the year. Very large selection of dishes, which include many of my favorites. The portions are generous, and the food is tasty. Daily and happy hour specials, especially for drinks, are also fairly reasonable, as are the regular food prices. Service is little on the slow side, even when they weren't busy, and really is the only letdown. So overall an OK place for Korean and Japanese warm fare.
Great food! Our server Kyle definitely made this a place worth visiting again he was engaging and extremely friendly. The ramen was delicious full of flavor! The gyoza and shrimp tempera sushi roll were so super filling and savory. The owner of the restaurant Chris spoke with us sharing some stories which was super personable. Better than decent prices on the food as well as the hot saki.
I am half Korean. I stopped in to pick up Kimchi Chigae and Bibim Bop for my mom and I. The wine and food are reasonably priced and the food is phenomenal. It is true authentic Korean food. All the servers were kind and setting is calm and inviting. I moved here from California and this will be a regular restaurant for me and my family.
If you want Korean or Japanese food, this is the place to be. Server was so helpful in recommending good dishes. There are happy hour and specials for those looking to eat well and save some money.
Really good food! I love the all you can eat Korean BBQ! The short ribs and pork belly were to die for! It's such a good price too. Definitely suggest

We initially checked out Ohya about a year ago, since it was close to our place in Desert Ridge at the time. We have since gone back a few times for the BBQ sets, and a little Sushi.
On our last visit we discovered they now have a BBQ/Sushi Buffet. It's well worth the $26 per person for all you can eat Korean BBQ and Sushi. They do have a somewhat fixed menu of items that you can order from at different price points. However, at the $26 price point you get a lot of variety of meats and sushi to pick from.
Our server Simon was a bit soft, but had the personality to really make it work for him. He did an awesome with our constant ordering, and made us feel right at home.
We love this place, and will definitely be back!

I work across the street from this new restaurant and we noticed the OPEN lights were on a few weeks back so we stopped in for lunch. They haven't officially opened yet, no grand opening or anything, but they are there and the food quality is outstanding.
This part of town has lots of great lunch options including several sushi places and this is hands down the best I've had. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable, a basic roll costs $5-$7 and specialty rolls cost $10-13. I highly recommend the Spicy Tuna roll and also my favorite specialty roll, the Popcorn Lobster roll. I've also had their Kalbi plate (spare ribs) several times and it is very delicious.
I am a bit of a food snob (according to my wife) as I am able to dine at many great places across the united states due to my field of work, I've found very few places in Arizona that are this good as far as quality is concerned. I can taste the difference in quality compared to other places around here so it makes it worth the wait at times.
Due to the fact that they haven't done any marketing or really pushed their presence yet they are a tad slow on service. They are very accommodating but it is obvious that they are still working out the kinks. Don't go expecting world class service but if you don't mind waiting a few extra minutes, the food is well worth it.
If you are in a rush then sit at the sushi bar, the sushi chef is very quick and he will manage your ordering for you. If you have the time to sit and enjoy then it's well worth the experience.
I hope this place is able to get enough publicity to stay open as I really have been impressed with their food, so much so that I've been there at least a dozen times already in the past month. I've taken a group as large as 12 and have also been there with just a few colleagues at a time too. Everyone who has joined me there for lunch has really enjoyed it.
I am giving them 5 stars simply due to the quality and taste of the food.
I have never been to a Korean barbecue before and this was actually my first experience and a very memorable one. This location offered all you can eat sushi & BBQ combo which was somewhat pricey but for the food that you can get it was pretty delicious and made it worthwhile. The staff was extremely friendly and was very attentive to our needs.
Unfortunately as of January 2019 this location has been permanently closed down. The only information that has been given on the official Facebook page is that it will be run under 'new management' eventually. I doubt that the new management will give good deals at this location once did however I'm highly disappointed that I was only able to try this location once and don't think I will return when/if it reopens.
Took my girlfriend here on a special night out for the Korean bbq. The food was amazing. The experience was A1. And the service was super good. You can do an all you can eat option here (which is rather affordable), the only catch is you gotta eat a large majority of the food you order. But the waiter was upfront. Gave advice. And made it awesome. The sushi is also bomb.
Great sushi!! Octopus nigiri was great. Bar is very large and they had lots of drink options. Decent sized patio and comfy seating. Definitely a cool place to eat, as they do have small grills at the table to cook your meats with.

Oh man, the food!!!! Took 2 of my friends and my husband to ohya literally 15 min ago, and let me tell you, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! The service was OK its the only reason why they didn't get 5 stars from me, but no worries I always tip well if the food is good. On thing that kept bugging me was the fact that both the male server and female server that we had kept turning up and turning down our grill. So the meat would either cook fast which we didn't mind. Then the girl would come and turn our grill off. Our server that got us our drinks is new she didn't know anything. What was on tap or a dish to recommend or what was what when it came to the meat. End story I'll return, the food was great, but I am fat and happy and that's what matters to me. Oh before I forget avoid the sushi if you can. Not that great. But the Korean! Very much worth it.
My girlfriend and I had such a great experience! Our cook Mitsubishi was crazy awesome and so funny! The service was super chill and the food was DELICIOUS! Their prices are ridiculously good and fulfilling for your tummy and wallet! Amazing time well spent! Thank you guys! You have a customer forever!ππ
Amazing all you can eat restaraunt! The Korean BBQ is so delicious! Our waitress was amazing and explained the whole process and was very thorough. The food was immaculate, the sides were delicious as well and so was their mochi ice cream! Definitely suggest this place!
My Korean friend took me here to eat and said this was one of his go to places to eat Korean food. Ever since then when we have the craving for Korean bbq this is where we go. Nice cuts of meat. Love cooking at our table and eating. Prices are reasonable.
This place is absolutely freaking amazing. The best Bulgogi I have ever had. The all you can eat BBQ for $23 is the best deal around. Someone in my party got the sushi and said it was also amazing. Very nice people and all the food was perfect. Clean and nice looking place to be. Definitely recommend going
