Food special soo tasty! Thank you to the cook Angel. The food process are reasonable. I had the half chicken meal for $11 which included a vinegar base cole slaw, rice, beans and tortillas. My wife had the best tasting fish taco. Seriously, best fish taco ever! Brenda our server was busy, but always friendly and there for us. Again, Shout out to the amazing cook Angel.

Stopping here for lunch was a happy accident! I was hungry; the restaurant was open. There were only a couple of cars in the parking lot. I sat for a minute in the car to check reviews... Looking good so far, so I went in. Am I glad I did! CC's isn't a huge place, maybe 15 or so booths and lots of small tables around a centerpiece bar. I was waited on immediately by the smiling bartendress. I ordered the Special: Ono whitefish meal which came with 3 sides -- beans, cabbage salad, rice, and either corn or flour tortillas -- PLUS chips and salsa. All of this for $11! But, oh my... What's a low-carb girl to do? They had no issue with substituting the beans and rice with two more helpings of the yummy light vinegar-based cabbage and tomato salad. The Ono fish was cooked to perfection: tender, smokey, and delicious! The delicate secret sauce is not much alone, but really pops with the nicely seasoned fish. Beware, if you're one of those people who don't like cilantro, the salad has a lot of it. I gave CC's Mesquite Griller five stars because the atmosphere was great, the staff was friendly and helpful, I received very fast service, and the food surpassed my expectations! The fish was seriously amazing. The next time I'm on this side of town, I will definitely be back for more!

I was craving some chicken and I remembered this place from years ago. It's not the same place but it has a good energy. Not for everyone if you are fancy and demand service go else where. This place seems very salt of the earth a little rough around the edges but the alcohol flows, the food is tasty and plentiful. It's the kind of restaurant that you seems you will get a story from. Seems full of regulars but still plenty of room for more.

love the mesquite broiler menu. If you liked Chuys, you'll love C.C.'s!

Get the combo. You will thank me. I have been coming here for over 10 years since it was Chuey"s. My go to meal is the trip tip with grilled shrimp, coleslaw, pinto beans and rice with flour or corn tortillas. Plus free chips and salsa!

This is a great restaurant at the intersection of Thunderbird Ave and Cave Creek. I was about to grab a taco at Taco Bell but then saw this interesting and unique looking restaurant. The big draw for me was "Mesquite" grill. When I walked in, I really liked the fun, chill vibe and great food aroma. The Owner, Manager, Angela, greeted me and she's really cool. My server, Star, did an excellent job serving my large order. I had everything cooked fresh to order within 15 minutes. I had a nice booth seat with a nice view of sports on the overhead screen above the fun bar area. They provide unlimited chips and fresh salsa which always adds points. Everything I ordered was fantastic. The mesquite grilled zucchini and whitefish taco hands down best I ever had. The mesquite grilled beef taco was also phenomenal. My five star margarita was also a big winner-my stomach and pleasurable buzz told me. I was really hungry had alot of food but the prices and value is superior to most restaurants. I enjoyed the country music on the jukebox and kept getting a compelling urge to visit Texas(never been). Highly recommended.

Decent place with nice selection of grilled meats and sides. However last visit noticed they may be closing. Never eaten in...take out only.

Love this place! Plan to come for the flame grilled tacos. They could work on their lighting in the bar, but you'll get over that.

Nice little place to stop in and have a cocktail or two and something to eat. And if you like tri tip, you couldn't be at a better place! It's fabulous and you can even order a whole one ahead of time for a family gathering, a pot luck event or any other reason. Good Happy Hour too.

What a great little restaurant. Angela and Christian were amazing. I don't live in the area but when I come back I will go there again and again. It was so good. I had the combo with the choice of two meats and got the chicken and the Tri Tip. Both were so good. Cooked to perfection. I also got the shrimp ceviche to go as I'm staying in a hotel and wanted some lunch the next day. Also so amazing. I highly recommend this place!

I have been coming to CC's for 30 years if you include when it was Chuy's (same menu). I typically get the half chicken (Killer Chicken) meal or the whitefish meal with flour tortillas. The fried fish tacos are also fantastic. Top it off with a 32 ounce Margarita on the rocks. My family and I come here once per month, at least, and it is certainly a favorite in our regular rotation. Always excellent. Always excellent! Tonight it was OUTSTANDING!
