First time to this place. This place has really good food and really good prices. Chicken platter was moist a 10. The potato salad was a 10. Pasta salad is a solid 8. The downside is the bbq sauce because it's the same that McDonald's uses. Same taste, smell, and little plastic cup. I know this now so I'll use my own sauce, no big deal. The service is quick so I didn't have to call ahead and didn't wait long.

A true barbecue haven is offered by Cookin' On Wood. It's a delicious experience with the properly cooked meats and smoky fragrance. Barbecue delicacies for every palate are available on the varied menu. It's a great place to get tasty and authentic BBQ in the city, with laid-back vibes and pleasant service.

Quick, tasty, and less than 1/2 the price of other BBQ places. Had the combo (tri-tip and chicken) with two sides and garlic toast. Just under $9 including tax.

Pretty good prices... had a chicken sandwich... more meant for take away than having the food there... its a compact place with wooden crafts

Double cheezeburger was good, and decent priced. About $5.80 with tax. Hidden in a industrial area, and small parking lot. But worth the trip...

Basic Barbeque Menu that is perfectly cooked. The Food comes quickly. The owner cares about his customers. A young woman next to us accidentally ordered the wrong side. He noticed and approached her offering to change the side no problem. No frills. But wow, the taste was wonderful. Better than some high end places we have been to. A tri tip combo with 2 sides and drinks for both of us for less than $20.

Food was good. Not very many options to choose from unfortunately also they only offer certain things on certain days, so that's another con. I rate it a 4 out of 5 because the food quality made up for the limited options. Another note, they are only open a few hours a day, so truly my rating would be a 3.5 out of 5.

Fantastic! On my first visit, it was a Tuesday. The daily special was their avocado, bacon, cheese burger with chips for $4.50. The waitress was perfect: polite, considerate, and not overly so. She brought me bottled water for free. They substitute potato salad for chips at no extra charge. To nit-pic, the bacon on the burger was thin, but there was plenty of avocado slices! I walked out of there happy, full, and was charged less than five bucks. Amazing! The only way they could improve would be to use non-disposable silverware and plates. I'll be back to try their tri-tips.

One of the best restaurants out there. The food is absolutely amazing and delicious. You cant beat the prices either. If you're on the fence deciding to eat here or not, always choose to go. Seriously.

DELICIOUS food (tri-tip quesadilla/steak fajita special) that was served very quickly, with love, and wonderfully friendly staff. She said, "See you tomorrow" - it was SO good, she may be right. LOL :)
