Taquería y Birriería is a hidden gem on the south side of Phoenix! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The tacos were so good and they weren't skimpy on the ingredients. I had the pork tacos El pastor and they had great flavor and the shells were tasty! The shells had a little crunch that I liked a lot but overall they were soft. This place is definitely worth the drive when you're looking for some great taco!

This place has me eating pork!!! I don't like pork!!! the pork tacos are FANTASTIC discovered this place and can not stop coming. The flavor and seasoning are on point. The tacos I order only come with meat onion and cilantro. Usually, I ask Ranch Market to load my tacos with sour cream cheese lettuce pico the works but these are the first tacos I've ever enjoyed as they come. They have this black cat that always visits me such a sweet heart. If you have an issue with the cats just remember people bring their DOGS everywhere in AZ including the grocery store. I took two other people with me and they LOVED the food... check this out, the food is so good my 16-year-old guest tried the goat tacos and came back the next day for more!! Can't get her to eat taco bell but they got her eating GOAT!!! As far as the cats... These cats are outside! If I had to say one bad thing about this place it's the fact that before I wrote this review I was about to come there to get some tacos only to discover they are closed today( Tuesday ), oh well see ya tomorrow🤣🤤🤤🤤
The staff was so sweet and welcoming! Randomly stopped here after work and will be coming back regularly! BEST quesabirria tacos I’ve had in Phoenix.
Some of my favorite Al pastor tacos in South Phoenix! Make sure to try them with pineapple! So good!
Came from Toronto and was craving tacos late night, this place only had 1 server who spoke English and she was very sweet! We ordered the Al pastor, Cabeza and the Birria tacos to go and THEY WERE AMAZING, felt very homey, the corn tortilla was probs the best I’ve ever had! The Cabeza was probably the best, very soft and fatty. We came back the next night for more!
Like the food its really good and a lot of it. Don't like how it's outside cause its humid and that there was someone tripping out from drugs, inside the dining area. They definitely raised the prices though. They were like 7/8 dollars what me & my boyfriend usually get now they're 10/11.
My favorite place to eat .authentic Mexican food and friendly staff:) they have fresh home made tortillas.
Food was good (birria) BUT the service not so good. Girl there took like 15 min just to give us our drinks. Another 10 min to get us our food. When we were done and ready to pay she just kept walking by but wouldn't look our way. Finally came over we paid her and took her another while to give us our change. I liked the food but not sure if I will be returning. They need more waitresses. Ok! So I came here a second time and there was a different girl. She was very nice and helpful made sure we were taken care of even made us chips so we could have with salsa even tho their fryer wasn't working! This time the experience was alot better. Thanks

Great location right off the 17 freeway but the service honestly sucked. I took my lady to eat tacos and when we got there we were both in a state of confusion we didnt know to eather pic a table and sit down and wait for a waiter or to find the window where we order.. but finally after minutes of standing at the "resteraunt" the waiter.told us to sit! Errrr the "el pastor" tacos were very very good but i give this a 4 because customer service SUCKS!!
Love stopping here for street tacos. Cash only
Great home feel to this place and friendly staff! Only downside was that it was outside when we went so it was just cold even with their heaters, and the amount of food seemed little for the price but the taste was amazing
