Very comfortable, cool place. The perfect place to escape the heat - or just life in general - and hang out with cold drinks and nice people. They have some pretty cool bands, we were there yesterday when there were several bands playing - wow, a whole lotta good music!
My good friend Cody told me about this place and it's exactly what I have been looking for. It's a Dive bar with good vibes. Not over crowded, quick service, and down the road from my house. I recommend this place. Pool table, darts, and affordable drinks!
Love this new option in my neighborhood. Pappy's Fire and Soul acoustic jam is the best! I recommend you check him out the next time he's there. Great people and atmosphere.
I just relocated to the West Coast 10 months ago from Charlotte NC and Tavern on the Creek was the first bar I stopped into with my friend only to use their rest room. On that day I could feel the inviting warm and friendly atmosphere. Not only that I have met and made great new friends there. I have continued to go back and Tavern on the Creek is now my stopping ground for a great time. I Love the owner Todd and his innovative ideas with Karaoke night to the different bands that play there each week. Keep up the good work Todd.

I love dive bars and I'm giving this five stars as a dive bar! The owner Todd was very friendly and very hospitable. The bartender working was extremely nice and she greeted us as soon as we walked in. I love the fact that the beers were super cold, on a hot day it really helped cool us off. Most of the other patrons that we talked to were pretty friendly, a lot of them were regulars. It is definitely one of the coolest patios in town. The beers were pretty cheap and my wife loved all the Christmas lights that are up it really gives a place of festive feel. It's definitely a fun dive, don't expect new furnishings or anything like that. This is a great watering hole that's lots of fun. Give it a try you will not be disappointed. You are so glad we stumbled upon this place.
Stopped in for a couple beers. I stayed out in back patio area. Nice patio. Pool table. Reasonable price. They do have food heard they are known for Pastrami Sandwiches...will go back

Great people, great atmosphere, great drinks, great food. What else can you ask for? Oh yeah the patio is HUGE but feels small at the same time.
The bar tender Jamie is very outgoing and fun to chat it up with and she maintains her professionalism and is also very entertaining.
Very 😎 dive bar...They have a amazing large back patio with awesome decor...They serve food but not food menu for tips. Lots of projector tv's to watch sports...amazing bartenders.
Great little dive bar. Bartenders are great. Very engaging. Drinks are inexpensive. Great pours. Beer selection could be improved. Food is tasty. They have an awesome patio out back. One Valley pool table and one straight stick. :)
I’ve only been there once last Thursday night and I guess they had a new karaoke host. He was great, and he really drew a great crowd. Service could be improved (faster), they ran out of buns and were serving burgers on Texas Toast by the end of the night so maybe they weren’t used to the crowd the new host brought. Either way it was a good experience, everyone seemed friendly so I’d try it again.
Incredible local bar with outdoor patio in back. We've been going because they have these great local and not so local talent come in and entertain the patrons.
The magic and comedy shows are worth the trip and the bartenders are the best (Allie makes a great liquid Marijuana) unfortunately they punish credit card users with a 1.00 fee which we find distasteful to locals in general (get rid of that fee!).
When you take a break and stop in the Tavern on the Creek, you get great service from beautiful bar tenders, great music, and the ambiance level is always above average. The patio is comfortable and makes you feel like stayin' a while!
Drink prices are worth every penny, a very Date Worthy bar! I think Tavern on the Creek deserves a Sexiest Bar on Cave Creek Rd.
