Small Deli in the lobby of a commercial building, sign is very small, easy to miss. Had the Italian Beef Dip (Roast Beef, Grilled Bell Peppers, Onions, Horseradish Mayo on an Italian Roll with Aus Jus on the side), was good but not Portillo's level. Convenient to work so I will definitely be back. Went back and got the Rueben (Grilled Pastrami, Swiss Cheese, Coleslaw or Sauerkraut, 1000 Island Dressing on Grilled Marbled Rye) was incredible, will be my new go to here.

I got a Hot Italian sandwich witch was very tasty! The ingredients were fresh and the cheese was melted. Would highly recommend eating there and no TO GO with the hot sandwiches. My bread was almost all soggy on the bottom bread and made it hard and messy to eat. A little disappointed with the Mac salad. It was creamy and fresh but has a lack of seasoning maybe a little more salt and pepper. But kind of bland. Will try this place again but maybe a cold sandwich this time or a burger. But overall good for a private owned deli.

Wow! Small place with a great big personality. The City Square Burger was fantastic and satisfying, with great flavor, great combination of burgers and pastrami. It was perfect. Homemade cookies and sweets. Tell them your Google guide recommended them.

Are you kidding me with that Loaded Baked Potato soup?! SO GOOD! These ladies are always so nice, and the food is always hot and fresh no matter what I order. Keep that potato soup coming, I'll be back for more next week!

Discovered this place just because i was looking for something new. It is in an office building. Might not have found it if I wasn’t looking for a deli. They have a decent breakfast menu, but haven’t tried it yet. I went during lunch on a Monday. Ordered the tuna salad on multigrain bread. It comes with a pickle. The albacore tuna tasted good, with a hint of dill. Lot of Mayo though. I might go again. The staff was very friendly. I wish the prices were a little lower.

The food is always fresh and delicious. The ladies that are there are very nice. I have been going for the last few months frequently. I would highly suggest giving them a try! Very reasonably priced.

Lunch with a team member, and found a true hidden gem on the north side. Great sandwich selections (hard to pick just one!), but I definitely recommend the steak sandwich. Also, the portions are just about right for a work lunch, just enough to satisfy, without leaving you sleepy. They're in the building with the bank, and highly recommended!

Great little sandwich shop that opens early for breakfast too. Food is delicious! Everything I've tried has been great! I have it on my regular "places to go for lunch" rotation. Highly recommend if you're ever in the area.

Ordered the City Square Classic and it was $7.37 including tax. The sandwich had a good helping of turkey, ham & bacon. Very good sandwich and I would buy again

Great homemade food! Best Ruben in town. Try the chipotle chicken sandwich too. Great side items as well. Treat yourself to lunch here, won’t be disappointed. They do breakfast too!

Great service! Staff is extremely friendly, helpful, courteous, and kind. (Qualities rarely found in the service industry anymore!) We see the deli on our way to and from doctor appointments, and the food smells so good! Unfortunately it's always closed by the time we leave our appointment. (They are open for breakfast and lunch.) Finally we arrived at 2:55, and they close at 3pm!! We tried to order a burger and a hit sandwich. The employee very politely explained the grill closes at 2pm, but we could order a cold sandwich. It was obvious we weren't satisfied with that response and weren't sure we wanted to pay such steep prices for what must be mediocre sandwiches! The manager came over to take our order. She explained how they've been operating since the Pandemic. The fact that they were willing to take our order was outside of their normal business hours. She was so sweet and helpful we decided to share the City Square Classic, with potato salad, and a drink. We asked if she still had some hot chili, and thankfully we were able to get a whole bowl!! Their delivery man came in as we were waiting on our order. He was telling the manager about what he had experienced while he was out. I watched her put our sandwich together and I was quite amazed! They weigh each item that goes on the sandwich. My first thought about that wasn't favorable towards them! I was glad I had kept my thoughts to myself! The sandwich is stacked so high, I physically couldn't open my mouth enough to take a bite!! I had to pull out some of the meats in order to be able to eat the sandwich like normal! Their generous portions were enough to make several sandwiches!! Though we were full after sharing the sandwich and potato salad, we wanted to taste the chili while it was hot. It was love after the very first spoonful! It didn't matter that we had filled up on the sandwich, we had to leave to get to our appointment, but I continued to eat until I had to enter the office! I threatened physical harm if my fiancé tried to eat MY CHILI! I might share it, but he better not try to eat it without me! We laughed as we enjoyed eating the chili together days later! Their delivery man stopped to check on us, and made sure we didn't need anything before he left. I was so impressed by the service all the employees demonstrated (even if it wasn't part of their normal responsibilities)! Each demonstrated such dedication to the business with qualities normally found in the business owners, or CEO’S! The delivery man expressed his love of his position because it keeps him busy and connected to their clients. I believe he told us he was a retired police officer from Chicago. He told us more about the business, for example they don't advertise. Their business grows by word of mouth! We were so impressed with the food, we are submitting applications to become LONG TERM CLIENTS!! I can't wait to experience the rest of the menu!!

First time eating here today. The food was absolutely excellent! I got the garden salad w/half sandwich. Everything was prepared exactly as I asked and the staff was friendly and helpful. This is a true hidden gem! I’m going to make this my new go to spot for lunch. I can’t wait to try the soup and hot sandwiches. The sweets are great too!

Tiny, hole in the wall sandwich shop i never realized was this close to my work. They make great deli sandwiches, prices are modest, and the workers are friendly. Definitely coming back here again.

Quaint cute little deli inside a financial office building. But you walk in and immediately know their sandwiches are goood. The griddle smells wrap around you like a warm blanket. And the whole slabs of ham and turkey sitting in the front case give the reassurance that they aren't messing around with quality. The food confirms it. Mmmm yes! Will be back, several times.
