We stopped by for a late lunch after being on the lake all morning. The service was great! The food was really good. The ambiance had a bit of a party feeling to it, which was nice. And to top it all off, the prices were pretty good too. I would certainly recommend a visit.
Took my granddaughter here. It was our first time. I was so cool. We swam and had entertainment from people going down the slide. There is a restaurant kayak and paddle boards to rent. There is a store and arcade and some kind of blow-up Obstacle course slides. It is all on the water. You park, and a golf cart will pick you up and take you across the water. We loved it and will definitely be going back.
Decided to try out Dillon's as something new. The food was very good. I had the Turkey Sandwich and my husband the Fish Platter. The views were great. Was not expecting to have to pay for harbor entrance fees and shuttle service, all in all we had a good time.
We loved our bartender Kelsey. She was attentive and alot of fun. Made great drinks. Very informative. Great place.
Our shuttle driver was bomb. He was so fun. Started our experience with a bang.
Not sure where to start. What a fabulous day on the lake. Super fun bar, great food, and the atmosphere is just perfect. We had this great big barbecue platter and a wage of salad. That was excellent.
Margarita was perfect. Our wait staff was really a tentative.
Just an FYI, it's $7 to enter the park. That seemed a little pricey just to go eat but it was well worth it.
Fish Tacos, Baked Beans, and Onion Rings all tasted good. The service by Katelyn was exceptional. The atmosphere was comfortable. The restaurant was clean. We enjoyed our visit with friends with minimal interruption with the World Series on TV. People were able to celebrate and have conversations with reasonable noise levels, giving the impression of privacy. We recommend this restaurant to our friends.
Stopped in for a quick snack and drink Saturday afternoon. Not a great selection for dairy/gluten free apples, but some of the mains looked good - maybe next time.
We split the fish tacos and had Mac and cheese and baked beans for sides, and the sides were definitely better.
Service was great - very friendly and helpful.
I have always enjoyed eating here. The bloody Mary's are small but wonderfully spicy. The burrito left me satisfied, but it was mostly tortilla. Needless to say, it was expensive for what you get. Nothing tasted bad, but overpriced.
Excellent, friendly service, dance floor, etc. Great location. Would be fun to come back for the day to kayak, canoe, etc. We just drank -- found new fav. Video below is partial shuttle ride from parking area to Mt Pleasant Lake / restaurant area.
This place is all about the atmosphere!! Despite staying at the lake we had to pay to get into the parking lot. The fun shuttle ride over the pier is fun. We got there a little later than planned and ended up waiting for over an hour. Food was ok. Not great. Live music was fun. The games for the kids weren't working. The food was over priced for not being all that good. Also took over 15 minutes to get a beer. Probably wouldn't make a point to go back unless it was for the experience. Also there was pork in something unexpected and I'm highly allergic so that almost ruined the whole vacation!
Do you like to go on adventures?
If you do, this is a must trip to this restaurant that sits on the lake. It does require planning to make a trip to the marina. Make sure you have sunglasses, water, hat and cash for tipping the cart drivers.
Once you arrive, there is an entry fee and you are required to park. They transport you on golf cart to the marina. You will need patience because if there are people waiting there's only room on the cart for 5 people at a time.
Once you arrive on the marina everything is accessible from there. The restaurant, the little shops, the boat rentals and boat cruises (weekends only Fri, Sat, and Sun).
The restaurant decor and staff were pleasant and very friendly. The food was delicious 😋. The only problem is ... there's too many choices. It was quite enjoyable and a fun atmosphere.
Our server Matthew was very friendly and entertaining. He made wonderful suggestions 😊 and he was creative with our drinks because they were out of lemonade.
We had a beautiful time and it was worth the trip for a belated birthday 🎂 celebration. Happy eating my peeps.
$7 entry to get into the Marina, and golf cart shuttles needed to transport you to the boat ramp, floating marina docks, Dillions, shop and boat rentals. Kayak, pontoon, jet ski and other boat rentals.
Good food at Dillons with open air dock and indoor seating.
Good food and great environment. Loved watching the people on the giant slide while we ate. The bathrooms are pretty big so great for changing in if you need to change. They have a couple tables outside and lots inside. They also have a stage with a dance floor for events. They have a good amount of arcade type games including some old ones you don't see often. My kids liked playing chess at the giant chess table while we were waiting for our food. It was pouring while we ate and the place has tons of windows so it was nice watching the crazy weather while we were dry inside. Beware when it rains because the roof leaked a little at our table. It actually made it more fun that it was leaking. We just found another table once the rain got pretty heavy. Would definitely eat there again.
Wow, everyone was friendly at Dillon's. Food and vibe was great. Being from out of town to attend sailing ⛵️ classes, we were unsure what to expect. Loved the place so much that we plan to come back - just to hang out at Dillon's.
Got home and realized that we left a backpack with clothes, hat, deck shoes, etc. It would cost around $100 in gas to drive back.
One employee, Adam, at Dillon's felt so bad for us that he heroically mailed it back. He didn't hesitate for a second to go above and beyond. Adam deserves a raise and a promotion, if you ask me!
Without question the food is great and the view if you dine outside is wonderful especially around sunset.
Go for the BBQ because that's what they're really skilled at.
They often have live music which is mostly great. There are sometimes that the music is too loud that you can barely have/hear a conversation in the outdoor dining area but that's mostly on the music type/band performing.
If you go at normal meal hours for lunch and dinner there's the likelihood you'll need to wait for a seat due to the popularity.
