The service was awesome! I placed an order and waited in the lobby. I was given frequent updates on when the order would be done. Very friendly staff. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and some mild wings. The pizza was really delicious. The wings were okay.

My wife and I are visiting Phoenix for a concert, looked for a pizza place to eat at. Barro's pizza did not disappoint! Food was delicious, price was great and best of all, no 2 hour wait to eat. I recommend this restaurant 100%, we will be back next time we are in Phoenix.

This Barro's location has awesome Customer Service! Delivery to the Steele Indian Park after a very long day of working a festival was such a great perk for our team that supported the sound, lights, and video production for 2023 Pride. Thank you for taking such good care of us! And of course, the pizza was awesome!

When I didn't order my item correctly, yes customers can be wrong, I got a call and they made sure I was taken care of! That little effort goes a long way...ThankYou!!! Pick up was a cinch as well.

Pizza to-go was delicious! Really well cooked, and the Caesar salad was fresh and had really nice dressing. Would visit again!

This restaurant recently opened here in the neighborhood so this was our first time trying it. My husband remembers it being in a popular mall here when he was a teenager and he says this place has changed for the better. I think the restaurant has the atmosphere of being a neighborhood hangout, where you can go for a beer and some pizza, watch the game on TV, and hangout with friends. The pizza was good and tasty. The original crust is a bit too thick for my liking but it was good. Next time I'll try the thin crust. And maybe next time we'll dine in and enjoy the game on TV too.

This pizza place definitely exceeded our expectations. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great and Devin went above and beyond to make our first visit one to remember. Definitely recommend and will be back soon!

On Sunday, I called ahead to check if I could bring my Chihuahua in for a to go order and the young man was rather pleasant about it. I came in and ordered the before 3 special of two slices and a soda for a total $5.41. What a deal! That is, until my card refused to work!😳😳😳 The horror and embarrassment! To say the least, a stranger who had walked in after me was kind enough to take care of it. *Thank you dear stranger. * The pizza was delish so I knew I'd be back. I returned yesterday, and ordered an entire pizza since it is a good deal for a medium pizza. It's 12 inch, was made hot and fresh and man oh man, all that cheese and pepperoni hit the spot. Quick service for sure! Had lots of leftovers for. A great thing was that the soda was refillable. The place was almost completely empty while I was there, and very clean, with a steady flow of people dropping in. The staff was friendly and very accommodating as well. I am not into tv and music but they had plenty of flats screens with news and sports. The place is child friendly and I was surprised to see an old school game at the entrance, and a small play area in the back corner for children. There is an outlet back there if your phone needs charged and mine certainly needed it. The place is also good for larger groups and they had plenty of sitting space for them as well. Downside; Music was a bit too loud and definitely not my choice, but I had headphones so that took care of that. Also, for a place that may have a Sunday crowd, there are only two stalls in the ladies bathrooms, and that would not accommodate a crowd. The bathroom also was a bit dim lit and little ventilation, so best advise it to use it before you leave from wherever before you go there. I am surprised this place is not crowded but it could be because there are other competition around. Barro's pizza can not be topped to it's nearby competitors, so it also could be that people are not aware it's there, or they may simply need more advertising or bigger signs. I know it's recently opened, but I walked my dog almost everyday past there, and never noticed it. If I could make a suggestion to Barro's, it would be to add other methods of payments like Zelle or Cash App. * I thought of this on my way back home that I could have paid the stranger back that way and I even called back to see if he was there but he was gone.* I made the suggestion to the manager, and he too pitched a similar idea with Apple pay but apparently the owner is old school, which is understandable. But it is definitely worth considering, if a customer runs into an issue like mine. Overall, I would suggest that every Arizonian and visitor stop in and get a taste of Barro's pizza. It's fast, deelish, affordable, and the middle of downtown, near public transportation, clean place, great staff, child and adult friendly; And a place good for carrying cash in case your card don't work.😁😁🤣😁🤣😁🤣Thanks Barro's.
