My rating is more like 3.5, bordering on 4. It's a great venue, intimate, personal, friendly, fun, and unique. I've performed here a few times, helped others with their performances, and just sat to enjoy performing artists. Typically, sound is decent but can vary with whoever is volunteering to manage that department. Minimal effort on visuals and lighting, unless the artist brings their own, and that can vary wildly from professional to amateur. Overall, it is a great place to see small acts play, enjoy local artists, and hang out with friends. No bar, but they often sell cold beverages at the check-in counter.
Truck space is a super special lil rock n roll venue downtown. They bring so many great bands here, ones that are usually up and coming.
An intimate venue for some amazing music. Drink prices (soda and water) are good, and there's a parking lot on the South side with plenty of spaces
This is an amazing place with a group of amazing people! For some of the best local music you must go!
I loved the last space, and I really lived this one too. I'm so glad that the Trunk Space still exists and that people are still supporting local arts in Phoenix.
I absolutley love The Trunk Space. My kids are able to come with me and listen to some awesome tunes. The family goes anytime my husband has a show. Always a good time at The Trunk Space.
Night after night, day after day, it went on and on. Then came that morning, he woke up alone. He spent all night staring down at the lights of L.A. Wondering if he could ever go home. That was Hollywood nights. In those Hollywood hills. It was looking so right. It was giving him chills.
Loved the atmosphere! Gorgeous little courtyard outside to chill between sets. Entrance was a little difficult to find
Such a fun place to listen to music. People from every genre play here, its so awesome to experience a place that is so diverse. Definitely gives you that small venue vibe which always feels more personal. The sound waves hit you a whole different way like this, truly a great and one of a kind place.
Visited this spot while on tour. It's a welcoming energy and they even have a cool little record store setup. Records are $2 each. I picked up some awesome jazz and classical albums.
