I love playing at GCU challenging. Fairways are wide open. greens are always in good shape. I love walking this golf course good exercise.
GC golf course is in great shape and provides a good challenge. The course plays long with an abundance of fairway bunkers and deep traps around greens. The sand is soft (which helps). Hit long, play position, and stay frosty or the wheels will come off your game.
Nice, clean, modern facility. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in excellent condition. I will most definitely play here again!
Certainly improved since the last time I was here a few months ago. Staff is always wonderful. Would like to see more effort in making the course consistent on greens and tee boxes... but has greatly improved.
Course is in good shape. Play was very slow. A little over 5 hour round. After the 6th hole had to wait on every tee. A little expensive for what you get. Good food in course restaurant.
Excellent course! You have to make shots. You have to attack the pins. Make all the shots in your bag. The drive will be rewarded for hitting fairways. The Cart girl provided 5 Star Service. Great pro shop. I didn't try the restaurant or bar. Traffic in area is horrible. Only entrance is off 59th Ave so don't miss it. Pay attention.
Good pace of play on the front. We had to wait a little on the back nine. Finished in 5 hours. Tee boxes were good. Greens were fair. Love the clubhouse and great service from the staff! Warm day but you could usually find shade when we wanted it.
Played right before over seeding and the course was still in great shape, can't find a better course for the price.
Great city course! Has some very interesting holes to challenge any golfer. Highly recommend!
GCU Golf course has establishing its self as a destination golf course.
Demanding 18 hole Phoenix city golf course needed maintenance and Grand Canyon continues to improve conditions. Great value for a tuff golf course in a quiet Maryville neighborhood in central Phoenix Arizona.
Grand Canyon University Champion Course has revamped the old city course. Starting with the club house the local Arizona course was given a modern look similar to other Grand Canyon buildings around the Phoenix area. If you want a challenge the course plays long from the tips. Fun course to hit range balls and play 18. I was too busy trying to keep up with the course ill take more photos next time. I look forward to the future of the neighborhood growth and to more improvements to the course.
