They were very kind to us here! Gave us water without paying - unheard of! Everyone asks you to pay for cup, etc! They let us use the bathroom! Then we bought something. Laura esp. seemed very sweet!! People were coming in and getting water. It's 112 degrees out! Nice to see them being so kind!
Service is usually quick, and the employees are really nice. The dining area usually has space to sit and eat. Lunch time gets a rush but still they are quick.
UPDATE:Because of past experiences I have avoided going here until last night. I ordered 2 tacos and a side salad. I was told there were no salads but when I got to the window the young man and woman said they world make one for me, so they did! What a nice surprise to be treated so well. Thank you. This night crew is doing a great job - I will let the folks know that stopped coming at night.
I was unable to order even though there were three cars in the parking lot and all the sign said they were open the lobby was closed and no one would answer the bell for the drive-thru. This is not the first time this has happened. I was told something one time there was not enough staff but there's three cars in the parking lot and it says open so where is everybody? And then you just say
I moved out to Phoenix from the midwest several years ago. Jack in the Box disappeared from the midwest over a decade ago, so I was delighted to find them out here. It's fast food, so it can only be so good, right? But still, it's comfort food and I get what I expect.
A really good location at 19th Ave and VanBuren. Fast, friendly, consistent service. Good traffic flow. For years.
This has everything it's fast, it looks good, and tastes great from the cleanest fast food chain from a friendlier crew that makes it. Those four things add up to make this a double double it adds up that way.
I don't have to tell you how the food tasted because everyone knows the food good as the last time but the feel of the place was pretty dull and slow no customers. The drink machine was down and I was in a hurry to catch the next bus. I did make it but barely. I don't know what they need to bring in more business but as long as they keep cooking the tasty food like they do they won't be closing doors no time soon.
