One of my husband's favorite restaurant.
This was mine and my family's first time going to Caroun. The food was awesome, nothing we are used to eating. My daughter is a picky eater, so she got breaded chicken and fries, my son got the veggie platter, his favorite part was the falafel. My man got a lamb shank dish which was super yummy but I didn't get a picture in time, and I got the caroun mix, which is a kabob trio. It was good, but my favorite out of everything was the yellow rice, and my man's lamb dish. This place is family friendly and has a part time lounge feel if that makes sense. I recommend going. My husband said he definitely wants to go again. Oh and I can't forget the DRINKS! Non alcohol, fresh juices! I had the lemon mint and my son had the banana. Both were AMAZING! I would try all the juices if I could. Super fresh and yummy. Last, the baklava. Crunchy, sticky, and delicious. Yum all around 😋
It was a unique experience for Phoenix with Iraqi cuisine. The place overall was good. The setup is a little disorganized with tables and couches. I am not sure if the place is supposed to be a restaurant, bar, or Hookah lounge. The staff was friendly but the service was a bit slower than it should have been. The food was good, not great, but served in ample portions. I thought the appetizer mixture was a bit more unique and better tasting than the various entree meats. In my opinion, the chicken tikka was the best of the three entree meats. However, none of the items were bad and I would not hesitate to order and eat every one of the items in the future. The hummus, tabbouleh, and Iraqi
salad were all bursting with flavor and obviously freshly made and authentic. The prices were reasonable.
Really cool spot with a street feel. The place is divided in 2. One side more like a lounge with couches and hookas. The other side is entry level fine dining.
Service is attentive.
The meat in my kabob was very gamey. Lacked the proper seasoning as well.

A very pleasant find. The staff/owners were very friendly. I definitely felt welcome. My server Aya was very nice! The food was also good. I ordered the Beef tikka but added a bit of shawarma for an additional charge. For my drink I had the lemon mint juice which ended up being a frozen blend type of drink and I really enjoyed it. I'd recommend both as they were both good. They don't serve cocktails however you can request to add liquor to any of the beverages for an upcharge. I also loved the atmosphere as well. Great place to eat. My sister brought us here as ahe comes very often. The place was upbeat, fun. The service was amazing and thr food was delicious.
Best hookah in the area! Big shout out to the guy making them he's very polite and professional. The girls provide great customer service and they're very nice and friendly. Food is good too but I usually go for the hookah.

When you first walk in they guide you to be seated , me and my dad went there today and had the best food ever but sadly we got full so fast we didn’t even get to eat the food we actually offered so we to a box to go and kept living our life’s.

My son treated me to a late dinner here on a Sunday when no one else was open. The atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting with the interesting fountain in the foyer,j the service was great, and the food was good. All the flavors were made to compliment each other. Loved the experience, the people and the food. We look forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu.
This restaurant is beautiful… the atmosphere, the staff, and the food. The food was beautiful plated, so fresh and just absolutely delicious. Our server was so friendly, and welcoming. I will definitely be back again and again!

Food was amazing and the service exceptional!! Stepped into the restaurant with such a beautiful scene. The fountain is flowing without being overbearing. I could still hear it from where we were too. My plate was gigantic, dialymeia or something similar. I can make two additional meals just from mine alone. The wrap up was a little slow, but it looked like they were preparing for a large party so understandable. So yummy!
The best Middle Eastern food in the valley is Caroun restaurant, an absolute gem! The food is both delicious and beautifully presented. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing a great dining experience. The ambiance is cozy and inviting. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and give it a 5-star rating.
This is an authentic Iraqi restaurant, down to the theme.
Inside, the theme is old Iraqi neighborhoods. The owner had lived in Iraq, and it gave me a memory of home. The writing, the map, the little decorations.
There is live music during the weekends. They do serve drinks, have seating for families, and the bathrooms are clean and available on both sides. Parking is good too.
The food is authentic, well cooked, and the service goes above and beyond suggesting food and how well to cook the meat.
Quantity is massive for the price. The tea is made well too, not bitter.
I highly highly recommend this place if you enjoy authentic Arabic/Iraqi food with an experience.

These guys knows how to grill the stuff. More importantly it is done on coal and that flavor of coal is sumptuous. The chicken was tender and well cooked and the marination was great.
